Zoi Sadowski-Synnott shines in slopestyle - she measures it perfectly and that is the marker by which all others will be measured.

    Boom!

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott lays down a huge marker in the women's slopestyle final.

A score of 84.51 fires the 20-year-old New Zealander into the lead at the end of the first run. That'll allow her to relax and try and produce something even more special in her final two attempts to claim gold.

Australia's Tess Coady sits second and Laurie Blouin of Canada is third.

Curling mixed doubles: GB 1-4 China

Can GB produce a fightback with four ends remaining?

A bit of a mistake there from SuYuan Fan, removing a British stone from the house before she is allowed to. That stone is replaced and GB need to make the most of it.

Just 12 hours ago this Capital Indoor Stadium ice was home to the short track at China’s first gold of these Games - we’ve changed discipline today here and it’s figure skating.

It’s the team event - the women’s singles short program. We’ll get our first Olympic view of 15-year-old Russian sensation Kamila Valieva, who is heavily tipped for gold in the individual women’s event. A few skaters to go before she takes to the ice - she’ll be the last of today’s 10 to perform.

    Jackie Lockhart
Four-time Olympic curler on BBC TV

It is sometimes very difficult to hold on to that lead and I think it will come down to how you set up the end right at the beginning and how you weld that stone to the house.

It is another steal for China and this is not going Britain's way at the moment, at the half-way point.

Failing to score apart from the steal at the first end.

    Women's slopestyle final

Australian Tess Coady remains in the lead in the women's slopestyle final first runs with that excellent 82.68 opener.

Two-time Olympic champion Jamie Anderson can't produce anything spectacular on her first outing, a 22.98 leaving her eight out of 10 so far.

Kokomo Murase and two-time world champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott to come...

    GB 1-4 China

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Scotland reporter in Beijing

China are on fire at the moment. This is the duo that turned up in the first couple of games and shocked Switzerland, and ran Sweden very close.

They're a newly formed pair too, but they've got Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat in a bit of trouble at the halfway mark.

Curling mixed doubles: GB 1-4 China

China roll another yellow on to the button. A final chance for Jen Dodds to salvage a single from the fourth end.

Not quite. Chine get the steal, taking a single to move into a 4-1 lead.

    Jackie Lockhart
Four-time Olympic curler on BBC TV

We are sitting short at the moment - look at all these yellows in front of us.

I feel that we're chasing, trying to get into that scoring position.

He was hoping to spring that red forward a bit, and that has worked very well.

All that maths homework that Bruce and Jen were doing... never thought you would use it for curling!

Another nice shot from China, Zhi Ling's latest yellow glides in from the left to leave two stones nicely positioned.

Bruce Mouat lines up a response. He goes for power, but can only send one yellow out of the house. One stone each.

Australia's Tess Coady leaps into the lead in the women's slopestyle final.

She eclipses Reira Iwabuchi's lead score with a brilliant 82.68 in her opener.

    This is warming up nicely.

"Line's good, line's good," calls Jen Dodds. It really is. Her latest red curves nicely into the house from the right.

China are on form today though. Zhi Ling uses that red as a guide, knocking it away to settle another yellow at the front of the house.

China with the steal and they now lead 3-1, but GB with the hammer now find themselves a little up against it.

If it doesn't go well for GB they really need to win those last matches.

That's a really good stone from Jen Dodds, bashing into a yellow to ensure China pick up just the one from the third end.

Still, work to do here for GB.

Reira Iwabuchi sets the early pace in the women's slopestyle final!

Switzerland's Ariane Burri couldn't lay down a marker on her first run, scoring 21.40, and up steps Iwabuchi, producing a fine 75.60.

There are four GB reds gathered closely around the button as Zhi Ling sweeps in China's penultimate stone of the third end.

It's near-perfect too. It kisses the other yellow parked in the house, nudging it smack into the centre.

Katie Ormerod finally got to make her Olympic debut on Saturday as she completed both runs in the Women's slopestyle qualification.

Unfortunately, the Briton couldn't make the top 12 to qualify.

Here's some of the best bits from qualifying, ahead of the final.
