SuYuan Fan rolls in China's final stone of the second end, it has a fraction too much on it but it's good enough to hand China a double.

A first burst of applause from the home crowd after that shot from China's Zhi Ling. A few whoops too.

It was well played, removing that red rock from the button.

Curling mixed doubles: GB 1-0 China

Bruce Mouat's attempted guard just curls a bit too far, leaving China with a look at GB's two reds.

China capitalise, sending a stone down the middle to clear GB out. They're in charge with one stone left.

    Well played again.

Once you start get stones in there they become difficult to shift, making it very hard for the opposition.

Great work by Bruce Mouat. He sweeps in to knock China's yellow out of the centre, leaving his stone in its place.

China's next attempt slides wide of the mark. Three to go for each pair in the second end.

It's eerily quiet in the National Aquatics Centre. Only a smattering of invited spectators, and only two matches on the four sheets.

It sort of adds to the tension.

A steal for GB in the very first end. Bruce Mouat came up with three great shots.

Another nicely placed guard by Jen Dodds.

One stone left for China to rescue this end... but that's a waste.

GB take a 1-0 lead! Great start.

Bruce is just trying to protect the stone that is in there - making things very difficult for China.

Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat have won four and lost two of their six matches, so this game is key.

Getting to five victories could be enough to finish in the top four, given their nearest challengers have also lost at least two so far. Six wins would almost certainly get the job done.

China surprised a few people with two early victories but have since returned to the norm with four losses.

It's a match GB really should be winning, and if they do it would ease the pressure slightly ahead of a tough meeting with Norway later.

    GB v China (01:05 GMT)

"We're pretty happy with how we're doing," Bruce Mouat said following defeat by Italy.

"We're disappointed not to win that one as it would have been a really solid position. But the fact we've beaten a lot of tough teams out there already is going to stand us in good stead.

"Going into another two-game day it's almost must-win now. But we're excited to get going and see what we can do."

GB are definitely in with a chance. I still feel pretty confident these guys will make the top four, and after that it is a whole new ball-game.

We've got plenty of experience if we get into the play-off stages, which I think they will.

However, they could not overcome unbeaten leaders Italy.

Victory would have taken Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds within touching distance of a semi-final spot, but Italy scored three in the penultimate end to clinch the win 7-5.

Our first action involving Great Britain comes in the mixed doubles curling. GB take on China (01:05 GMT), before later facing Norway (12:05) as Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds continue their bid to reach the semi-finals.

Andrew Musgrave finished seventh in the men's skiathlon in Pyeongchang 2018, which is his best Olympic performance and Britain's best result in the sport. In Beijing, he told the BBC he needs a "ridiculously good day" to get a medal but "at the same time, there is a possibility".

    That race starts at 07:00.

Sisters Leonie and Makayla Gerken Schofield get a second and last chance to reach the women's moguls final with qualification (10:00), before the final takes place from 11:30.

And the men's singles luge concludes with runs three (11:30) and four (13:15), with GB's Rupert Staudinger who was 24th after the first two runs on Saturday. He needs to move up to the top 20 after the third run to make it to the final one.
