When Jen Dodds has gone first she's set up the head really well and Norway have been chasing.

They just need to do the same again.

Boy, it's tense here. Totally silent.

Moments before the end, the Italian squad erupted in the stands as Italy seal a spot in the final with a thumping 8-1 win against Sweden.

Norway will have the hammer, they will play the final stone. You can not have an extra end, there must be a winner.

Jen Dodds opts for a more conservative shot. For a moment it looked like she was weighing up something that Mark Williams or Judd Trump would be proud of in a snooker exhibition.

GB take the end. We are all square.

Men's 1000m short track speed skating final

Utter drama in the men's 1000m final.

Hungary's Liu Shaolin Sandor thinks he has won gold but is penalised post-race for initiating contact when taking the lead.

That means Ren Ziwei, who collided with Sandor for a second time at the end of the race, is upgraded to gold. Compatriot Li Wenlong takes silver and Sandor's brother Liu Shaoang claims bronze for Hungary.

Final stone incoming from Jen Dodds who is having a natter with Bruce Mouat. The British pair have called a time out while they decide what to do.

Not sure head coach David Murdoch is in full agreement with what they are looking at.

Plenty of tactics on show here. To the untrained eye one or two errant shots are all about trying to tee things up for later in this seventh end.

Norway just about in control here, lying two.

This was always going to be a tight match and in the first four ends we were not missing anything and all of a sudden, a couple of shots that just go awry slightly...

Oh er. Norway have well and truly turned things around. A couple of slight errors from Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds and they are now playing catch up.

    Men's 1000m speed skating final

It's an all China and Hungary affair in the race for the men's 1000m medals.

But the final has been halted halfway through due to a foreign object - believed to be part of a skater's blade - on the track.

China trio Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei and Li Wenlong, plus Hungarian brothers Liu Shaolin Sandor and Liu Shaoang must start again.

Jen and Bruce have come out really strong from end one and their stone positioning has been world class, they've really put pressure on Norway every single stone and forcing errors.

A good scoreboard and playing well so it's all feeling good right now.

500m women's short track speed skating

A 10th Olympic medal for Italy's Arianna Fontana - and a gold at that, as the 2018 champion retains her crown.

Fontana appeared to be second favourite at the midway point of the final but made a smart move around the inside of the Netherlands' world champion Suzanne Schulting.

It's silver for Schulting and bronze for Canada's Kim Boutin.

Because the fall happened so early, the race is recalled and must start again.
