Ah a reference to Rhona Howie and 2002 and all that. Never grows old does it.

Curling mixed doubles - Norway 2-3 GB

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

A little fist pump at the end there from the two of them, just the one shot given up.

That is very, very good first four ends from Great Britain, they pretty much controlled this.

They only lead by one but of course they will have a hammer going into the fifth.

'Manic Monday' plays over the tannoy as some of the home crowd wave their flags during the break.

On the ice, it's tense. I wouldn't expect that to change.

Curling mixed doubles - Norway 2-3 GB

Compelling stuff this. Magnus Nedregotten over curls (yes that is a thing) Norway's penultimate stone.

Jen Dodds is now telling Bruce Mouat to leave her final stone well alone, it's trickled through and gives Norway the chance to pick up three points.

Kristen Skaslien now giving Nedregotten instructions as she plays her final stone of the end but it'll only be the one point after all that.

GB with a slender lead at the halfway stage.

GB mixed doubles hat off for a second, Italy have been the story of this curling tournament so far.

Not tipped to even reach the play-offs they've won every game and are dominating a Sweden side who were expected to compete for gold.

500m women's short track speed skating

Somewhat unusually, we will have a five-person speed skating final in the women's 500m coming up shortly.

Defending champion Arianna Fontana, of Italy - who has already achieved a record-breaking ninth short track Olympic medal these Games - cruised into the final.

Canada's world record holder Kim Boutin and Dutch world champion Suzanne Schulting will rival her for gold, alongside China's Yuting Zhang.

There are usually only four finalists but Belgian's Hanne Desmet has been advanced to the final too - after falling in her semi-final following contact from behind by China's Chunyu Qu, who was disqualified.

Curling mixed doubles - Italy 4-0 Sweden

Italy won all their matches in the group stage and they have carried that form through to their semi-final against Sweden. So far at least.

Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner are 4-0 up after three ends.

Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds use their power play for the fourth end. The British pair trying to put the pressure on their opponents. And it appears, so far, to be working.

Jen and Bruce are both playing really well. Stone positions are good, forcing errors out of Norway.

They really have come out firing today.

A perfectly-judged hit and roll in for two there from Jen Dodds.

The crowd in the Ice Cube enjoyed that one!

Kristen Skaslien goes full power as she takes aim at four British stones bunched together in the scoring zone.

She succeeds in moving three of them but Jen Dodds replies with a superbly weighted stone to give GB two more points.

It's all about the set-up with these first few stones in mixed doubles, trying to get the angles right.

It looks like the rest of the men's and women's teams are up in the stands watching their team-mates.

They're playing well so far so plenty to enjoy.

Mouat and Dodds getting those yellow rocks planted in and around the button.

A couple of good stones from Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds has turned this end right around.

Pressure now firmly back on the Norwegian pair, who are not just doubles partners but married as well.

    Their tails are definitely up.

What can Jen Dodds do with the final stone of this second end? This is looking good and comes to a halt closest to the tee.

Kristen Skaslien with a tricky final stone. She nails it. The Norwegians are level.

    An intriguing second end.

Three Norwegian red stones and two yellows in the scoring zone as Bruce Mouat prepares to play the penultimate stone.

Not sure there's enough gas on that to give GB the shot.

My first time at the ski jumping centre and it’s a cool venue. Literally.

It’s absolutely freezing and the “seats” in the media tribune are blocks of concrete!

IOC president Thomas Bach is here watching. Bet it’s warmer where he is.
