  1. GB performing well...published at 03:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2022

If you are just joining us:

    • Katie Ormerod of Great Britain has started a little slowly in the women's snowboard big air qualification. She needs a massive final jump to progress
    • Great Britain's Katie Summerhayes and Kirsty Muir put down excellent opening runs and look well placed to qualify for the final of the women's freeski slopestyle, though qualification is ongoing
    • In the Ice Dance, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson will not be getting a medal but they performed well to put up a combined score of 191.64. They will get a top-10 finish.

We've had a very mixed bag from the skiers - most notably Eileen Gu.

She's trying to get three gold medals but first she's got to get through qualification.

Thats the run she wanted to put down.

Solid through the rails, clean landings and then she knocks it out of the park!

Much better from Eileen Gu. No time to lose, she's having a bit to eat while she waits for her score.

79.38 - that will be enough to see her through to tomorrow.

    Bobsleigh - monobob

They will go in reverse order in this final monobob run to decide the medals.

It's hard to see how Kaillie Humphries isn't going to win this, her lead is so big. She'll have to wait for the 19 others to go first before she races for gold.

She's aiming for a third Olympic gold after two-woman success in 2010 and 2014. And it would also be a fourth medal in four Olympics as she also took home a bronze in 2018.

All those were when she competed for Canada - she's now representing the United States ... and she almost never made it to these Games.

    Read her remarkable story here.

Switzerland's Sarah Hoefflin - who lived in Gloucestershire from the age of 12-22 - was the slopestyle Olympic champion four years ago in Pyeongchang.

She won't be this year. A best score of 48.96 from her two runs means she won't qualify for tomorrow's final.

That was such a fun performance from Fear and Gibson, full of energy, they smiled the entire way through it.

The handful of Brits in the arena are on their feet, they loved it!

And they have gone top of the standings with 115.19 for a combined total of 191.64. They need to get a quick photo of the leaderboard before the others go!

It means they are guaranteed a top-10 finish, but how high will they go?

"Could we be losing the Olympic champion at the first hurdle. She almost knows it. Slopestyle and the chance to defend her Olympic title, is gone."

Sarah Hoefflin puts down a second run of 48.96. That'll be her best score and it will not get her into the top 12. She's done.

It's looking good for Kirsty Muir and Katie Summerhayes at the halfway point.

After the first run, they're sat in fourth and sixth place respectively. With one run to go, it's only the top 12 skiers who will progress to tomorrow's final.

It is on the edge - that score doesn't rule her out but there is work to do there.

That’s more like it from Katie Ormerod.

She lands her second jump - a 720 - to put a score on the door. It’s not a big score but it’s solid and gives her a base to put down a tougher trick in the final jump.

It’s still wide open with the 12th position - the bubble - 113.25.

Can she do it? The final run is starting now.

    Dear me.

Poor Elisa Maria Nakab sets off for Italy. We're informed she jetted out with two days to spare in order to take an empty slot on the team. She literally didn't think she'd be at the Olympics three days ago.

She falls at the very start of her run and then stacks it big off some big air. She's all smiles though. Hard as nails and already talking about run two.
