Eileen Gu has won Olympic gold before she even takes her final run.
Some would say she won it before she woke up this morning.

It's a second gold of the Games for 18-year-old Eileen Gu of China, who also won the big air event and finished second in slopestyle.
Cassie Sharpe, winner four years ago, takes silver with another Canadian, Rachael Karker, securing bronze.
Karker has a hug with fellow Canadian Cassie Sharpe at the end. It's silver for Sharpe and bronze for Karker, whose third run only scored 38.

Only Canada's Rachael Karker can deny Eileen Gu the gold. Karker is third as it stands...

She’s not happy with that run. She is really upset.
Really gutted for Zoe Atkin that she couldn’t put down the run she wanted.
But it is definitely not going to be her last dance at the Olympics.

Zoe Atkin looks a little heartbroken but has to take some pride in putting down a run in the Olympic final.
She will learn a lot from this experience and be back stronger than ever in four years time.

It's not to be for Zoe Atkin. After two falls, she opts for caution to get a run down, but halfway through you can see she's completely unhappy and it's a tame end to her run.
At the end, she's in tears, hugely disappointed, but she is only 19 years old so plenty of time to appear at another Games.
Atkin gets a score of 73.25 on the board, which will mean she finishes in ninth position.
Next up, Britain's Zoe Atkin. This is her last chance after two falls.

Cassie Sharpe was second after two runs and throws in a performance that includes a couple of 900s and a couple of 1080s. It's a slight improvement with a score of 90.75, but that might be good enough for silver after gold four years ago.

American Carly Margulies, whose equipment failed her on both her opening two runs, finally gets a proper score on the board and she's 10th at best.
But, considering she's had to have six knee surgeries already in her career, it's an incredible effort and a brilliant show of guts, resilience and desire.

There’s an acre of paddock between Eileen Gu and the rest of the field.
She has got such a head start on the third run.
No one is coping with the wind in the way she is.
She is more than five points clear of Cassie Sharpe in the silver medal position. She is a full 10 points ahead of Rachael Karker in the bronze medal position.
