Tyrone champions Killyclogher secured a first ever Ulster Club SFC win by beating Cargin in a Healy Park quarter-final on Sunday.

Mark Bradley and James Carlin netted as Killyclogher went in 2-2 to 0-5 ahead at half-time against the Antrim side.

Killyclogher surged clear thanks to five unanswered points while Mark Kelly scored a late Cargin goal.

Cargin's Tony Scullion and Killyclogher captain Mark Swift were sent-off for two yellows in the dying minutes.

Bradley hit the top corner for a superb opening goal before Carlin palmed in the second as Killyclogher moved six points clear midway through the first half.

Cargin showed their resilience by scoring the next three points with two from Tomas McCann.

Then came the five-point blitz early in the second with Mark Bradley firing over three before Simon O'Neill and Conall McCann found the target.

Cargin failed to recover and Scullion was dismissed before Kelly's consolation goal.

Swift also saw red late on as Killyclogher progressed to the semi-finals for the first time, with Derry side Slaughtneil their opponents in a fortnight.

"I'm absolutely delighted - the boys have worked so hard and we have created history," said Killyclogher boss Dominic Corrigan.

"We made a very poor start but that was a spectacular goal from Mark Bradley - one of the best I have seen in a long time.

"It was a massive score and it gave us the confidence to go on and win the match.

"We will dust ourselves down but we have a lot of injuries, including Mark Bradley with a shoulder problem.

"We know we'll have to improve for the Slaughtneil game but that is a great challenge for us."
