    One of the hardest things is when you are stood there and you don’t know the reason why.

    Dina felt in good shape, been doing well in training, had good indications but she couldn’t put her finger on what the problem was.

    She got a reasonable good start but she didn’t get on terms.

    She will not be in that final, She’ll be really frustrated.

    We're just 10 minutes away from the first 100m semi-final gets under way.

    GB's Dina Asher-Smith goes in that one and will face tough competition from Marie-Josee Ta Lou.

    The sprinter from the Ivory Coast posted the fastest time of the heats, running 10.87secs to edge Jamaica's two-time Olympic 100m gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.92).

    With just over 10 minutes to go, World Cup winners Spain looked to be heading out, but two late goals have seen them take their quarter-final match with Colombia to extra-time.

    Colombia had taken a two-goal lead through Mayra Ramirez and Leicy Santos, but in the 79th minute Jennifer Hermoso got Spain back into it.

    Then, seven minutes into added on time, captain Irene Paredes put away the equaliser to give her side another 30 minutes to keep their Olympics hopes alive.

    In the third quarter-final of the day, Canada and Germany are currently goalless in the first-half.
