Milak should be congratulating Liendo there because he did all the work.

Liendp took the race out as the knows he can, and lost from 5m to go.

It's good to see Milak back with an Olympic gold medal. He had his demons.

    I fancy Lewis Richardson tonight.

The Jordanian, Zeyad Eashash, has punched and won above his weight, I really fancy him.

Lewis is naturally strong and has competed at top level. He should be able to control and dominate.

    Musetti 6-4 1-6 Auger-Aliassime

Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime has turned the men's bronze medal match around to emphatically take the second set 6-1 against Lorenzo Musetti.

The Italian had won the first set 6-4 but went down an early break in the second and struggled to comeback, ultimately broken twice before Auger-Aliassime served it out.

Who will come out on top in this deciding third set?

After the commotion of Imane Khelif's bout earlier, attention at the boxing now turns to Lewis Richardson - the last Briton standing.

He faces Zeyad Eashash from Jordan now.

If Richardson loses it will end Team GB's interest in these Games. It would mean they leave Paris without a medal, the first time that has happened since 1996.

If Richardson wins, however, he will be guaranteed bronze at worst.

    All on the line.

The lead changes so much in this race and we have also got a split field. Some teams will be going in a man, man, woman, woman order and four of the teams are doing woman, man, man, woman, so it will be interesting to see which approach is the most effective. It will be a bit all over the place but an exciting one.

I can only guess [Adam Peaty's non-selection] that's down to the fact that after a couple of days of covid he's not felt that up to it. He is the best in the breaststroke.

The Americans and Australians will be tough to beat, but we're in it and are in with a shout.

For Daryll Neita, she is in to her second 100m final back-to-back and that just goes to show how much experience has really helped propel her and her trajectory in terms of her career so far in the 100m.

Spain have kept their Olympic hopes alive... just.

The World Cup winners needed a late comeback and a penalty shooutout to overcome a spirited Colombia and progress to the semi-finals.

Late goals from Jennifer Hermoso and captain Irene Paredes, who scored in the 97th minute, took them to extra-time, with neither side able find the breakthough.

Catalina Usme stepped up first for Colombia but it was saved by the Spanish goalkeeper, while Liana Salazar missed their third.

Barcelona's Aitana Bonmati scored Spain's fourth and final penalty to take her side through to the semi-finals, where they will meet either France or Brazil.

Imani Lansiquot finished in fifth in her semi-final, and she was talking to BBC Sport:

"I’m not happy. I definitely expected way more for myself but I’ve got to be thankful, [it's] been a difficult season and six weeks ago I couldn’t even walk out of bed so it really hurts at the minute.

"I’ve just got to use this as motivation that whatever I put my mind to I can make it possible.

"I’m an Olympic semi-finalist – first time I’ve been able to say that, and all eyes on the relay now."

I've just rocked up to the swimming, where it looks like there'll be no Adam Peaty for Great Britain in tonight's mixed 4x100m relay final.

According to the start list, GB's team for tonight's final - which they won in Tokyo three years ago - will consist of Kathleen Dawson, James Wilby, Anna Hopkin and Duncan Scott.

Peaty returned to the pool this morning for the first time since testing positive for Covid - a day after his 100m breaststroke silver.

He helped the men's 4x100m medley team qualify for Sunday's final but said afterwards he had had the worst physical week of his life, adding he was also struggling with an ear infection.

Huge, huge disappointment for Dina Asher-Smith in the women's semi-finals.

The European champion has been making steady progress all season since uprooting to Austin Texas, where she trains alongside Julien Alfred under coach Edrick Floreal.

Something was not right there and Asher-Smith knows she should be in that final, but she must refocus quickly with the 200m getting under way tomorrow morning.

Team GB will have Daryll Neita to get behind in the final, however, as she hunts a first individual global medal. With Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce out of the equation, this could be her big opportunity...
