Bars is next up for GB - they will be counting on another big performance from Becky Downie, who has qualified for the individual final on this apparatus.
She said it was going to be a particularly emotional day as the date is the birthday of her brother, who died three years ago shortly before she was due to compete in Olympic trials that she then pulled out of.
Gymnastics - women's team final
GB's Alice Kinsella has just upped her qualification score on the uneven bars to 13.300.
That is a great start for Team GB on a notoriously difficult piece of apparatus.

The Dutch have been good value out here. It does take two to make an interesting match, and they haven’t just rolled over.

Wondering how hot it actually is in Paris?
It’s stick on the sprinklers and jump in front of the water hot.
The irrigation hoses used to cultivate the grass square in the Jardin des Mousquetaires, and the flower beds around Roland Garros, have been turned on.
They've also been turned around to allow fans to drench, drink and droll in a bid to keep cool.
Gymnastics - women's team final
Team USA lead the standings after two rotations, with Italy currently in second place and China in third.
Team GB are less than two points shy of the medals as it stands in fourth place.

Great Britain are on the uneven bars next.
Alice Kinsella will go first for GB, followed by Georgia Mae-Fenton and Rebecca Downie.

I’m sure there’s been a lot of discussions of how to neutralise Wesley Koolhof. He’s an athletic mover at the net, he times it brilliantly, he’s been out there for a long term and they’ve got to figure out how to neutralise him and just make him a little unsure of where to move after the serve.

Somehow, despite skies like this, it is pouring down with rain at La Défense Arena.
I’m not complaining after how hot it has been today.
Gymnastics - women's team final
This is a fantastic display of elite gymnastics.
Georgia Mae-Fenton has scored 13.800 for her vault and Alice Kinsella 13.966
Ruby Evans is the last to go and she makes a difficult vault look rather easy.
She matches Kinsella's score of 13.966 and Team GB are going well at the halfway mark.

Biles didn't do the new skill but she did do a wonderful bars routine.
This is a really different Biles to in qualifying - a lot of high-fiving her team-mates. She looks relaxed and just really happy at the end of that.
Well, it is going rather well after all...

Simone Biles is absolutely fizzing with energy. We were a little worried [heading into this final] because she had a little calf issue in qualifying but no sign of that now. High fives from her team-mates.
Football - men's group matches: Ukraine 0-2 Argentina, Morocco 3-0 Iraq
Claudio Echeverri scoring Argentina's second goal
Argentina have beaten Ukraine 2-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals in the men's football group phase, a result that eliminates Ukraine.
Morocco also advance following a 3-0 win over Iraq and that means they go through as Group B winners with Argentina second.
By failing to win the group, that means Argentina will probably face hosts France in a tasty last-eight tie.

The standings in gymnastics can be really misleading... you can only really compare the teams who are competing on the same apparatus, so in this case GB are paired up with Romania, and USA are in with Italy.
That's because vault scores tend to be higher than, say, beam, so certain teams won't have competed on the higher-scoring apparatus yet.
Gymnastics - women's team final
Romania's Lilia Cosman is first up to vault and she scores 13.433.
GB's Georgia Mae-Fenton is next up.
If you're just turning your attention to Paris after a busy day, here's a little recap for you.

Nadal is moving very much more comfortably than he was yesterday – and the Dutch really don’t know where to go.
There’s been really good movement from Alcaraz – they didn’t know he would be around the net.
They can’t get in a trade with them because the Spaniard’s ground-strokes are too heavy. They are having to cover their tram[lines] because they are being assaulted down the line.
