Chile's Joaquin Niemann is enjoying himself at Le Golf National this morning. He's followed up an eagle at the par-five third with birdies at six and eight to reach four under before evening hitting the turn.
It has taken him to the front of the field, with a one-stroke lead over Canada's Corey Connors.
A host of players are at two under, including Japan's former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, American world number one Scottie Scheffler and Australian Jason Day.
Great Britain's Tommy Fleetwood and Ireland's Rory McIlroy are a shot further back.
Women's coxless four rowing
Perhaps Team GB's biggest hope of a gold medal today comes in the rowing at Vaires-Sur-Marne Nautical Stadium.
Two-time Olympic champion Helen Glover is part of the women's four alongside Rebecca Shorten, Sam Redgrave and Esme Booth - and the quartet are expected to be right up there for the top honours in this morning's final.
They won their heat in impressive style. Can they put in a repeat performance to claim a medal today?
It's a 10:50 BST start for that one. It's almost time...

Philip Doyle and Daire Lynch for team Ireland, they win the bronze. What a performance, they came through the field, they shook off the USA and they're on the podium.

Remarkable, that is an upset in this whole Olympic regatta. They have been favourites in this whole Olympics, the Romanians just whacked the rate up.

Philip Doyle from Northern Ireland and team-mate Daire Lynch take bronze for Ireland.
Romania are the OIympic champions after a stunning last 500m to surge past the big favourites the Netherlands.
It seemed as though the Netherlands, have calmly put themselves into pole position with 500m left would see it through to the finish line - but Romania had other ideas.
Andrei Sebastian Cornea and Marian Florian Enache put in a stunning performance to get that gold.
Meanwhile, Ireland comfortably saw off Team USA for the bronze. A fourth medal for Ireland at these Games.

America are being brave here, they're really trying to challenge the Dutch which is a really bold move.
Who has got the biggest and bravest sprint, who is going to find their red zone? The Dutch are just looking like they are pushing it, they've set themselves up really well.
Men's double sculls final
Halfway through this final and the Netherlands are now pretty much neck-and-neck with Romania.
Team USA have come through and are third with Daire Lynch and Northern Irishman Philip Doyle in fourth for Team Ireland.

An explosive start from Spain. If you want to win this race, they are saying you've got to come out and chase us. It's a mental game as much as a physical game, they've got to keep going.
Men's double sculls final
Rapid start from Spain but by 500m, they've already been reeled in by Romania.
Romania lead from Spain with Netherlands in third and Ireland fourth.

What a moment for the pair - their first Olympic medals.
Men's double sculls final
No time to waste, no sooner has the women's final finished, the men's double sculls final begins.
No Team GB crew in this one but Ireland's Daire Lynch and Philip Doyle have got a good chance of gold. Netherlands are the favourites, though.
Away they go...

To put it in perspective, New Zealand were outstanding, silver medallists in Tokyo. Romania were reigning world champions, hold the best time at the Olympic games, it's a real quality podium and then the British girls do that. It is genuinely fairy tale stuff.

Goosebumps, it was so emotional. To be able to pull out a performance like that across this whole week is remarkable. They had a great start, they didn't have the start they did in the heats and semi-finals, but they stuck with it. It wouldn't have been their race plan but they still had their resolve, it's so impressive to see.
Women's double sculls final
It's bronze for Great Britain's Mathilda Hodgkins-Byrne and Becky Wilde.
A superb race from them. New Zealand take gold from Romania.
The defending champions looked like they were falling away but they finished strong. Not quite strong enough though as Brooke Francis and Lucy Spoors of New Zealand held on to win.
Some performance from the British pair to take the bronze after a brilliant week.

They're in third but still fighting for that gold medal.
