I would back myself on pole-vault with a year's solid training. You either get over the bar or you don't.

I think flag football for the 2028 Olympics is a good shout. Having watched a bit of it, it seems pretty easy... well at least relative to the other Olympic sports!

    Breaking

    Women's individual archery - Li 6-0 Pitman

Pitman's shooting is improving, but has she left it too late? In the third set, she shoots a 9 followed by an 8. Li scores 9, then 10.

Pitman has to score 10 here, realistically... she does. But if Li scores 9, it's all over.

And Li does. She wins the third set 28-27, and the match 6-0. Sadly, it's all over for Bryony Pitman.

Great Britain's Emma Reid is out of the women's 78kg judo after losing to South Korea's Yoon Hyunji.

The Briton, a world championship bronze medallist, received three penalties and was eventually beaten by ippon.

Reid is the fifth and final Team GB judoka to be knocked out in Paris.

"It's a frustrating way to lose, especially when I know I could give much more," she told BBC Sport.

"I had a good game plan, I just didn't execute as well as I could have done. I was ready and up for it today so disappointed it didn't go my way."

    Women's 20km walk

To give you an idea of the speed that these women are walking at right now.

They're covering a mile in about seven minutes. That is rather impressive especially given the 26 degree heat in Paris.

That heat isn't bothering China's Yang Jiayu as she currently holds a 16 second lead.

A lot of the athletes in the women's 20km walk are wearing small ice towels around their necks because of the incredible heat and humidity currently in Paris.

Could do with one of them myself, it's even quite warm in Salford!

Team GB will be bidding to make it through to the jumping team final at Chateau de Versailles today. The qualifier gets under way at 10:00 BST.

Ben Maher, the reigning champion in the individual event, has changed his horse from Point Break to Dallas Vegas Batilly due to form post-travel.

Maher is joined on the Great Britain team by Scott Brash and Harry Charles.

There was disappointment for the Brits in Tokyo, when they got to the final but finished 10th of 10.

They'll hope to make it back to the final today but will face tough competition for a medal. Sweden are expected to be up there for gold, while hosts France are also contenders.

Angela Ruiz needs to win this set to keep her Olympic alive. She starts with a 9 from her first of three arrows - Pitman does the same.

Ruiz shoots 9 yet again which takes her to 27, Pitman wins this match with a 10...

No, she only shoots 8! Ruiz wins the set 26-27 and gets on the board.

A slight setback for Pitman, but she still has control of this match - if she wins either of the remaining two sets, she is through to the next round.

    Women's individual archery - Pitman 4-0 Ruiz

Angela Ruiz is ranked 24th in this competition, while Bryony Pitman is 41st. But Pitman is a former world number one, and capable of winning at her best.

Here she goes again, scoring 10 with her first arrow as Ruiz can only shoot 9, followed by an 8.

Pitman then follows up with a 9, Ruiz shoots the same with her last arrow. So Pitman needs 8 for the second leg...

She takes it! 27-26 in the second leg, Pitman moves 4-0 up overall. If she wins the third leg, she sweeps into the round of 16.
