London Broncos have been dealt a second major injury blow ahead of their return to Super League after Josh Rourke broke his leg in a pre-season friendly.

The former Salford and Whitehaven full-back joined the club in December and was hurt in the 18-18 draw with League One side Oldham on Sunday evening.

It comes after Bill Leyland suffered season-ending knee ligament damage.

Broncos face world champions St Helens in their opening Super League match at Langtree Park on Friday, 16 February.

"The club will now support Josh in the best possible way on his road to recovery," Broncos said in a statement on X,, external formerly Twitter.
