Samisoni Fisilau: Jersey boss Biljon hails Tongan's impact

Samisomi Fisilau joined Jersey having most recently played for Bay of Plenty in New Zealand's ITM Cup

Jersey head coach Harvey Biljon has praised the impact of new scrum-half Samisoni Fisilau.

The Tonga international and started the 26-19 win at Doncaster on Saturday.

"He did very well on his debut for us," Biljon told BBC Radio Jersey.

"We've got some young scrum-halves that are still learning their trade and someone with a little bit of experience and composure with regards to his game-management came through."

The victory, which was only Jersey's third league win of the season, moved them up to eighth in the Championship, 13 points clear of bottom-of-the-table Plymouth Albion.
