Jersey Reds have lost four of their opening six matches of the Championship season

Jersey Reds' worst run of form since the end of 2014 continued, as London Scottish strolled to a comfortable win at St Peter.

The Exiles were 21-3 ahead by half-time after tries from Fijian Dan Koroi, Danny Kenny and Patrick Kelly.

Jason Harries sprinted through for the bonus-point try soon after half-time, before David Cherry crashed over.

Winger Rich Lane went over at the other end for the hosts, who have now lost four in a row.

Koroi was driven over for the opener after five minutes, setting the platform for the dominant performance that was to follow.

Brendan Cope's penalty, won at the scrum, reduced the deficit but turned out to be Jersey's only score of the first half.

Scottish pulled away, largely helped by numerous errors from the Reds, with a lost line-out and Ross Adair's sliced clearance handing possession to the visitors and a few phases later flanker Kenny was easing in for his try.

The Reds could not build any momentum in a half punctuated by injuries, penalties and stoppages and Kelly's try with half time approaching ensured the Scots were well in control at the break.

The bonus point was in the bag soon after the restart, when winger Harries ran through to score by the posts after good work from centre Robbie Fergusson.

If anyone still had doubt over the outcome hooker Cherry went over, for the fourth consecutive game, to open up a 30 point margin.

It took until the hour mark for Jersey's first, and ultimately only, try of the afternoon with Lane found in space wide on the left to run in and dot down in the corner.

Cope superbly converted but a penalty from the impressive Peter Lydon at the other end sealed the 36-10 win.
