No he didn't. Blair Murray just does enough to get the Cardiff wing out at the corner flag.

Scarlets still ahead by six points.

    What do you think?

That offence is now a triple punishment with a try, a conversion and a yellow card.

    Too harsh?

    Cardiff 19-25 Scarlets

Scarlets were reduced to 13 men against Cardiff a fortnight ago... and it's happened again!

However this time they have a lead to hold on to.

The clock is their enemy right now.

Cardiff were way over the line, a melee of bodies and I'm not exactly sure what happened.

This really opens the game up with Scarlets down to 13. It's boots and saddles, where stories are made, with a six-point lead and down to 13 men.

    Cardiff 19-25 Scarlets

Scarlets lose their skipper for the next 10 minutes for that penalty try.

Can they hang on with 13 players?

Can Cardiff pull off another comeback?

    And it's worked within seconds!

Driving lineout and Scarlets are penalised for pulling it down as Cardiff trudged their way to the line.

James Botham, Mackenzie Martin and Aled Davies are all on for Cardiff as Matt Sherratt looks to his bench to dig his team out of this hole.

  9. Sin-bin: Tom Rogers (Scarlets)published at 66 mins

    Cardiff 12-25 Scarlets

The Scarlets wing gets his marching orders after deliberately blocking a potential scoring pass by Alun Lawrence.

The Cardiff forward was through and looking for the support.

Rogers didn't even stop to look to see if he was getting a card.

Taine Plumtree had his rulebook in his hand when he ran around the side there and the referee was on point.

It's a big moment. There's big moments when you get wins away from home and Scarlets are starting to get these big turnovers which are piling the pressure on Cardiff.

That try all started with that huge turnover by Taine Plumtree.

I'm not convinced he's an eight but he is surely due a Wales start this autumn.

That was lovely slight of hand. A no-look flat pass from Eddie James on the gainline.

Johnny Williams still had a lot to do with two men to beat.

    That pass certainly was...very flat.

Johnny Williams try, Ioan Lloyd con

Scarlets centres Eddie James and Johnny Williams combine to score.

It is so simple. James just draws in defenders and then produces the off-load to Williams, who rounds Millard to score between the posts.

Scarlets open up daylight on the scoreboard.

Taine Plumtree is so switched on there.

The referee tells Ellis Bevan to use the ball at the back of a scrum so Plumtree pounces on the scrum-half and nicks possession.

    Smart play!

Front row changes for Scarlets as Ryan Elias and Alec Hepburn come on.

Ha... the TMO comes to Lloyd's assistance and tells referee Craig Evans that the Scarlets fly-half DID keep his feet in play.

So Scarlets are offered a scrum at the spot of the catch.

Red face for the touch judge!

Wow, that is a monster of a clearance by Cam Winnett.

Ioan Lloyd thought he had kept it in but gives the touch judge a searching look as the flag goes up.

Cardiff move 60 metres up field.

  18. Missed penaltypublished at 55 mins

And replacement Litterick has given away a penalty just seconds after coming on.

Lucky for him that Lloyd misses the posts after Macleod is forced to stop the ball wobbling on the tee.

  19. Replacement: Cardiffpublished at 54 mins

Scarlets' defence was superb there, Johnny Williams blitzing out and getting the player man and ball, Josh Macleod with a great turnover and Tom Rogers winning the ball.
