The Television Match Official was everywhere in the New Zealand against France game earlier, ruling out tries left, right and centre, and it's been the same here. Technically they were probably the right calls, but it opens up a bigger debate.
Is it best for the sport? Rugby is such a messy game that if you wanted to find an offence in the build-up for a try, you probably can. Do we want all these tries ruled out in the way VAR does with goals in football?

The Lions pack is completely on top, winning scrum penalties galore. So much for the Tongan Thor. They're not really taking advantage but there's a softening-up process going on and you'd imagine that the Lions will get their reward once they find their range.
