    Northampton need to be more efficient when they go through the phases. It just seems they are lacking something in the backline.

    They do look sharp but need to link it together. No Alex Mitchell would be a big loss.

    Bristol will have to stage a big fightback in the second half after conceding a second try to Alivereti Raka on the stroke of half-time.

    The Bears, needing to win to keep alive their hopes of reaching the last 16, could not get over the line during a spell near the Clermont line.

    And they paid the price when Raka expertly finished in the corner despite last-ditch tackles from two Bears defenders.
