The Lions looked torn between moving the ball and kicking it, and it led to a total break down and Jorgensen galloping in.

In these conditions, 15 points is verging on an unassailable lead.

Again the Lions drop the ball in a good position. Their handling just hasn't worked in the rain.

Loose passing from the Lions is picked off by Max Jorgensen, who races clear. Bundee Aki gets ahead of Blair Kinghorn's pass and Jorgensen punishes that error.

It's been a very difficult evening for the Lions. They haven't been able to retain possession, their set-piece hasn't been good, the line-out in particular has been very shaky.

Unless they get hold of the ball and play some territory pretty soon this game is going to get away from them.

So just to remind you of some stages.

Tommy Freeman went off injured in the first-half for Owen Farrell, with Huw Jones switching to the wing.

The Lions also lost James Ryan and Maro Itoje after both failed their HIA. Ollie Chessum and Jac Morgan are on.

Ellis Genge then came on after the restart for lighting for Andrew Porter.

Looks like it was Owen Farrell with a potentially try-saving tap tackle on Taniela Tupou.

Meanwhile we've been told there were two lightning strikes in the area with four sports matches affected.

Taniela Tupou charges through but the ball then goes down. He has found his best form again. The Lions win a scrum penalty so that is a good start for Ellis Genge.

An irony that during the near-40 minute delay, we've actually had the driest weather of the evening.

It's now hosing it down again.

We are restarting with a penalty from a scrum offence against the Lions. Ellis Genge is on for Andrew Porter.

Mark Philp, the match day manager for Rugby Australia speaking to Sky Sports: "Following World Rugby safety protocols, we had to get everyone off the field and into the changing rooms. From the first strike we have to wait 30 minutes. If there are no strikes then we can get the players back on.

"Depending on the length of time we are off, will dictate how long we give each team time to warm up on the field before we resume the game.

"If we get close to the 55/60 minute mark then the decision goes higher up to the CEO and there may be a match abandonment. If that's the case, its the second half of the game we look at the score and how the score will stand."

Despite the remarkable situation, the fans are in good spirits.

Just been speaking to a group of four - two in Lions red, two in Wallaby gold - who have been breaking bread and exchanging tour stories.

The Australia players are back out on the pitch. The Lions are not out yet.
