I'm not sure I've ever seen a Test match like this one. Three failed HIAs, James Ryan knocked unconscious in a sickening collision, lightning strikes, Tom Lynagh forced off after what looked a cheap shot from Dan Sheehan, suspension of play, confusion and chaos, a resurgent Wallabies dominating the Lions and making you wonder again about where on earth was this kind of aggresion in Brisbane in the first Test.
Music playing over the speakers in Stadium Australia. Everybody looking at each other. The weirdest atmosphere I think I've ever felt in a stadium. Concern for Ryan as well. That was such an awful crack he got from Will Skelton's knee. There's a bad feeling about this whole thing.

There were similar scenes during Wales women's match last Saturday against the Wallaroos in Brisbane. There was a 30-minute delay after 12 minutes of play.

There won't be many players in the two dressing rooms who will have experienced this before. It will be tough on their bodies because they will start to stiffen up so they need to keep moving as best as they can.

We're hearing if there are lightning strikes within 10km of the stadium then play is suspended for the safety of players, camera operators and all staff.
It must be clear for 30 minutes for play to restart.

I have no sympathy for the Aussies and their slow start to the series in the first Test. They could have, and should have, released players for the provincial games and that's on them. Lions are not 2-0 by accident, they've been the better team with greater strength in depth.
