  1. Replacement: Henry Pollock (England)published at 51 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

What a moment for 20-year-old Northampton Saints back-row Henry Pollock who makes his England debut.

And what a great time to do it when you're 33-7 up in Cardiff.

But that means a re-shuffle with Ben Earl shifting to the centre and Tommy Freeman making way.

Well... Freeman has his piece of history already in the bag. Good job as he wouldn't have been happy leaving without it.

What Wales achieved there was harder than scoring the try. Just put it through the hands and score in the corner.

  3. Close!published at 49 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

What a miss! Another try goes begging for Wales.

Joe Roberts made a half break on the right. Wales switch play across to the left where Ellis Mee squeezes through but his pass his fumbled not just one but two players a yard from the line.

Max Llewellyn and Aaron Wainwright should have scored between them.

Wales need to keep opening the game up to take England out of their comfort zone. They are good when they make it unstructured. This suits Wales.

  5. Replacementspublished at 47 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

Hooker Jamie George and prop Joe Hayes are on for England.

Lock Teddy Williams - a try-scorer last week - and fly-half Jarod Evans come on for the hosts.

  6. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

Great defence from England and their openside Ben Curry.

They had a scrum five metres out, Max Llewellyn hits the line on a crash ball but the England flanker gets his hands on the ball and comes away with it in the shadow of his own posts.

    Brilliant.

  7. Close!published at 45 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

Blair Murray must be wondering what he has to do to get a try.

Alex Mitchell drops an up-and-under and Murray gets a toe to the ball.

Then it's a foot race and Fraser Dingwall just gets in ahead of him.

That's three tries Murray could have had today. Wow he's a livewire!

  8. Record-breaking first halfpublished at 44 mins

    Wales 7-33 England

    • First time England have scored four or more tries in a Six Nations game in Cardiff since 2001

    • Itoje’s try was the 92nd of this championship, setting a new record total for a single Six Nations surpassing the previous mark set in 2023. The total has since moved up to 97

    • Tommy Freeman is only the second man after France’s Philippe Bernat-Salles in 2001 to score in all five rounds of a Six Nations. Louis Bielle-Biarrey can join him later

Well those changes for Wales have not brought an immediate bounce as Dewi Lake's first lineout was not straight and then the hosts are penalised at Assiratti's first scrum.

    Oh dear.

That is the best England have played this Six Nations. They have been accurate and dynamic, playing at pace. No one would have expected this. England are the best side by far.

    Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at Principality Stadium

Given this is England's biggest ever half-time lead over Wales, we need to look at the record books.

Wales' biggest loss in Cardiff was a World Cup warm-up game in August 2003 when England won 43-9.

England's biggest victory in the tournament at the Principality Stadium was the 44-15 success in 2001.

England's largest margin of victory over Wales in the championship was a 50-10 success at Twickenham in March 2002.

The most points Wales have conceded in the tournament was at Twickenham when they were defeated 60-26 in 1998.

The largest victory ever was the 62-5 win at Twickenham in another World Cup warm-up game in August 2007.

Ireland held off a spirited Italy to secure a bonus-point 22-17 win in Rome and keep alive their faint hopes of winning a third consecutive Six Nations.

Hugo Keenan's first-half score and Dan Sheehan's hat-trick ensured a win that took Ireland to 19 points in the table, three clear of France and four ahead of England.

It means any win for England against Wales will take them past the Irish in the Six Nations table after Ireland ended the Championship with 19 match points and a points difference of +18.

A win for England - without a try bonus point - will take them to 19 match points, while their points difference is currently +20 and this will only be improved with a win.

So Ireland didn’t improve their points difference enough to pressure England to get a try bonus point in victory.

But even if England win, victory for France against Scotland will still almost guarantee them the title given their superior points difference.

England's power game has been so impressive.

They are picking the right options at the right time, at times it looks a little bit like a training run.

They are getting that speed of ball and they're on that front foot time after time.

That scoreline at half-time doesn't look pretty does it?

They've just scored five in 40 minutes!

    Mike Henson
BBC Sport at the Principality Stadium

"A difficult first half for Wales" says the Principality Stadium half-time announcer with a shade of understatement.

It could have been different - had Blair Murray's early score stood, had Luke Cowan-Dickie not pulled off that full-length tap-tackle - but the half-time scoreline is a sobering one for the home fans.

Even England's bad luck seems to turn in the visitors' favour, with Chandler Cunningham-South bringing metre-making physicality after Ollie Chessum was forced off with a shoulder injury.
