In a nutshell England have just physically dominated Wales.

Wales are just struggling to go forward, it doesn't feel like they are making inroads when they get the ball.

When England get the ball they are so powerful, if it's not at scrum time or maul time, it's their carrying and we know they have the athletes to do that.

That's why England have stayed in games throughout the Six Nations because they can always rely on that physical dominance.

Where is the trophy heading... Paris, Cardiff or Dublin?

Six Nations organisers may have got the perfect climax to the tournament but it is proving a logistical challenge.

Organisers could not have asked for better with all three of today's game featuring a team with a chance to win the title.

    But what about the trophy?

Right now France have one hand on the cup and they will pick up the silverware in Paris if they beat Scotland this evening.

But if they are unable to fulfil their side of the title-winning equation and England beat them to top spot, all eyes will return to Cardiff.

Should it appear at half-time as though Les Bleus could be upstaged, England will leave their team hotel and return to the Principality Stadium this evening.

If they become champions, they will be presented with the trophy on the pitch once the climax to the tournament in Paris is completed, around 10pm.

Good luck lads making your way through the Cardiff nightlife to get back to the stadium at that time!

Given Ireland open the day’s action when they face Italy at the Stadio Olimpico and will be at the post-match function as events in Cardiff and the French capital unfold, their trophy presentation would take place in Dublin on Sunday.

However, they would receive their winners medals in Rome today.

Mitchell is getting to the ruck and passing it straight away. Big improvement in speed compared to getting to the ruck and stepping once or twice before passing (which I HATE). Keep it up!

Oh my... have England grabbed a fifth try on the stroke of half-time?

    Yes they have!

Tom Curry carries hard dragging red jerseys with him and then prop Will Stuart steps around Tomos Williams on the line.

What a way to celebrate his 50th cap with only his third Test try. The referee checked an earlier knock-on by Maro Itoje but all good.

This has been a sensational 40 minutes from England. Almost faultless!

This is the slickest I've seen England look for 12 to 18 months.

Wales are making it easy for them, England are toying with the Welsh defence.

  8. England 'too powerful'published at 38 mins

    Wales 7-28 England

Powerful, clinical and effective, that's all it is.

Wales want to play, but you've got to play in the right areas, you've got to keep discipline.

Once England get anywhere near our 22, they are too powerful for us.

Chandler Cunningham-South try, Fin Smith con

Wow - make that FOUR tries in this half for England.

Wales are again guilty of over-playing in their own half.

They're out-muscled at the break down and then England show how ruthless they are.

Replacement Cunninghamk-South is twice involved before an easy finish close to the posts.

This is a super slick display from England.

We've just scored a try and clawed ourselves back into the game, but there was just so much pressure on Anscombe, he gets charged down and it puts us right back in the trunk.

It's a little bit of clueless play, we just needed to set that up and get it out.

Five in five for Tommy Freeman. It has never been done before in the Six Nations by an Englishman.

Incredibly clinical from England, but Wales are going to rue that kick-off reception.

It landed in Ben Thomas' hands, I don't know why they threw another pass to risk the chargedown, but England have just taken over.

Great play to get it out the back to Fin Smith to then play it to Tommy Freeman for the try.

Tommy Freeman try, Fin Smith con

He's over and grabs his piece of history by scoring in all five games of a single Six Nations.

But that all started from a terrible re-start by Wales.

Gareth Anscombe dithered far too long and had his clearance kick blocked and then it was all about English efficiency.

To Roebuck looked set to score on the right wing but Ellis Mee recovered. England recylce and Freeman barges between two defenders to score - with men outside.

That was more like it from a Wales perspective and showed the influence of Tomos Williams with that final pass to Ben Thomas to stroll over.

Gloucester scrum-half Williams is one of those Wales players who will be hoping to impress on their final international audition for the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia this summer with Andy Farrell's squad picked in May.

Wales are now being dynamic, which we didn't see in the opening 10 minutes.

They are asking questions of England's defence.

    So much better from Wales.

Holding on to the ball and putting the English defence under pressure.

A nice little move in the line-out and then it's just power, and a brilliant pass from Tomos Williams.

Will Rowlands gathers the lineout and the Welsh pack get a roll on.

They're stopped just short before Aaron Wainwright goes close before Tomos Williams fizzes a wonderful pass across two players to the on-rushing Ben Thomas between the posts.

That's his third Test try in 13 Test and Wales are back in this.

Wales are definitely getting themselves back into this game as Jac Morgan and Taulupe Faletau start making ground with carries.

They win another penalty and kick to the corner rather than take the shot at goal.

As soon as it gets into patterns, England have control. When it breaks up, Wales look dangerous. Play within the system and England win this.

Ellis Mee should have made England pay then.

A poor pass from Marcus Smith goes to ground and the Wales wing gets a boot to the ball but it rolls agonisingly out of play.

Had Mee kicked in field, there was literally no-one home for England to stop him scoring.

    Definitely a half-chance missed.
