    That is that.

    Ireland immense. Scotland woeful.

    Scotland 18-32 Ireland

Scotland have shaded the possession by 55% to 45% and forced Ireland into making over 70 more tackles.

They've spent well over seven minutes more than their opponents in attacking situations, too.

Yet, they trail by 14 - stats can't tell you everything!

    Scotland 18-32 Ireland

We're into the final minute at Murrayfield.

Scotland play on in search of a converted try that would secure them a losing bonus point, but fumble the ball while still in their own half.

Gregor Townsend looks thoroughly miserable in the stands.

    Ben White

Scotland scrum-half Ben White barges over, but it's too little, too late.

Blair Kinghorn adds the extras, and cuts the lead to 14 points with under four minutes left.

    Scotland 11-32 Ireland

Five and a half minutes left at Murrayfield, as Scotland kick into the corner.

Regardless of what happens from here, Ireland look favourites to secure what would be a third successive Six Nations title.

Gregor Townsend needs to move on. Scotland consistently underperform against better teams. Awful World Cup 18 months ago, lost to Italy last year. Scotland run the risk of wasting the talent of some brilliant players.

    Scotland 11-29 Ireland

The TV cameras cut to the Scottish coaching box after Will Hurd immediately gives away a scrum penalty.

Gregor Townsend sighs in dismay, anger, frustration - all of the above perhaps.

Interesting for Irish fans to have Sam Prendergast and Jack Crowley on the pitch together.

Crowley's in at full-back and Hugo Keenan switches to the right wing with Calvin Nash off.

Jack Crowley is on for Ireland, with Calvin Nash - who scored the first try - making way.

Will Hurd and Sam Skinner trot on for Scotland, replacing Zander Fagerson and Grant Gilchrist.

You can make excuses for them, but we're in international professional set-ups here and for this Scotland team not to scenario coach, to not plan for this, is quite frustrating.

We'll be tough on the players, they need to bring more physicality, but they need to have a look at this game plan today. I think they've got it badly wrong.

    Scotland 11-29 Ireland

Sam Prendergast is so calm for one so inexperienced at Test level.

He drops a delightfully judged kick in behind that rolls into touch and piles more pressure on Scotland.

It is relentless. So good from Ireland. Every other breakdown they are getting in and pouncing. They've done it all game.

    Scotland 11-29 Ireland

Scotland are probing on halfway, but they cough up possession under immense pressure from Ireland.

The line speed and intensity at the breakdown is so impressive.

That will be that, you'd imagine.

Other than a good period either side of half-time, Scotland have been totally outgunned here.

There's a gulf between these sides that is being laid bare.

Andrew: Relentless pressure being applied by Ireland. Scotland have manufactured very little for themselves, and anything they have, they've had to earn the hard way. Every exit kick pressurised, every high/loose ball challenged for. Meanwhile, Scotland have stood off Ireland.

    He is just sheer class.

  20. try

Try Scotland 11-29 IRELANDpublished at 60 mins

    Jack Conan

That is likely a decisive score for Ireland.

Jamison Gibson-Park spots space in behind with Blair Kinghorn out of position for Scotland and Hugo Keenan races onto the kick.

The visitors keep calm, recycle possession and Jack Conan - only just on the field - powers his way over from close range.

Sam Prendergast drags his kick wide on this occasion.
