Guernsey's Chris Simpson has won his first tournament of the season after taking the St George's Hill Open title.

The 28-year-old beat top seed Daryl Selby 11-8, 11-2, 9-11, 11-1 to clinch his first title since he won the Jersey Classic in May 2014.

Simpson, who is ranked 23 in the world, is hoping to get back into the top 20.

He lost in the first round of the US Open earlier this month and made the semi-finals of last month's Kolkata International tournament.
