After plenty of breaks in the opening two sets, we're yet to see a break point in this third set.

Aleksandar Vukic comes close to getting himself one there, but Jack Draper squashes any chance of that with three straight aces. Not bad, eh?

He piles the pressure back on Vukic, who will have to serve to stay in the set now.

We are still on serve in this third set, but there is just a little more pressure on Vukic because he is serving second and having to come from behind constantly.

Draper is playing it a little bit safer and Vukic is taking advantage because he has to be bold to get the win over a top player. This is exactly the sort of tennis he needs to play.

"YES!" Aleksandar Vukic is pumped as he flings a forehand down the line and out of Jack Draper's reach.

Jack Draper, meanwhile, rolls his eyes in disappointment as his lob fails to make the court before a Vukic ace seals the hold.

There it is. That's the first real celebration we have seen from Jack Draper as he holds his arm aloft and wiggles his finger at the Melbourne crowd.

The British number one drew Aleksandar Vukic in with the drop shot, and despite doing well to get there, the world number 68 has left an empty court behind for Draper to hit the return into. Lovely stuff.

Draper's quality should tell. Hopefully he gets the job done in four sets. I'm not sure even the crowd think Vukic will win. They are very quiet compared to Draper's last game. Vukic is putting in a good effort so far though.

    *Draper 6-4 2-6 3-3 Vukic

Aleksandar Vukic opens the door slightly for Jack Draper after rushing into a forehand that ends up in the net.

But the Australian slams it shut, getting out of trouble with an ace followed by a fizzing backhand winner down the line.

  7. 'This match is about patterns'published at 11:22 Greenwich Mean Time

Right now, so much of this match is about patterns.

It's about who can create the patterns that will play into their game a little bit more.

  8. Injured Fils retirespublished at 11:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Humbert 4-6 7-5 6-4 1-0 Fils

Frenchman Arthur Fils' Australian Open campaign is over after he retired with an ankle injury.

He won the first set against compatriot Ugo Humbert but was trailing 4-6 7-5 6-4 1-0 when he decided not to continue.

Aleksandar Vukic is asking for more noise from the Australian crowd, waving his arms up and down to conduct their applause after his booming backhand proves too much for Jack Draper.

The 15th seed ignores it and blasts home his 11th ace on the next point before wrapping up the hold.

    *Draper 6-4 2-6 2-2 Vukic

A fiery forehand down the line pulls Jack Draper up to 40-30, but the Australian changes pace on the next point by going from big hitting to the a dink of a drop shot and it catches the British number one completely unaware.

  12. 'Vukic just keeps matching Draper at every level'published at 11:14 Greenwich Mean Time

That missed backhand from Draper in the second point of that service game for Vukic really turned the game completely to the Australian's side.

Vukic just keeps matching Draper at every level, and even surpassing it at times. He is using the energy of the crowd as he should.

Draper is still right there but he has backed off slightly. He isn't being quite as aggressive, in terms of his shots from the ground, so maybe he can get back to that?

  13. Olympic gold 'definitely the highlight of my life on court'published at 11:14 Greenwich Mean Time

    Djokovic 6-1 6-4 6-4 Machac

Novak Djokovic on winning a gold medal for Serbia at the 2024 Paris Olympics: "Representing my country is the highest honour, I'm sure most of the people in this world feel like that. Most of the athletes playing at the Olympic games would. Seeing the best athletes in the world at the most important and oldest event in the history of sport is just unforgettable. I've been blessed to play in five Olympic games.

"I have had the most heart-breaking of losses. I managed to win the bronze medal back in 2008 in my first Olympics in Beijing but ever since then I just couldn't take that next step to reach the final and have a chance to fight for gold.

"In Paris, I thought that this might be my last good chance to fight for gold so I gave it my all. It was a dream come true, definitely the highlight of my life on court. Having my family and the closest people in my life there to witness it was just the peak of my career.

  17. 'Definitely the best match I have played this tournament'published at 11:09 Greenwich Mean Time

    Djokovic 6-1 6-4 6-4 Machac

Novak Djokovic speaking courtside about his third round win: "I'm very hot-headed right now, so I'm going to try to give a calm and diplomatic answer. I think I played really well, honestly. I'm very happy with my game. I was slightly surprised with the result and to beat him in straight sets.

"There was a break early in the second set and I struggled physically there, but I somehow managed to turn things around and hold my serve when I needed to. A couple of points really decided that second set, it could've gone his way and then the outcome of the match would be different.

"In the third set, I felt fresh and I moved really well. Overall, I'm pleased with my game. There is always something to improve or work on, but this is definitely my best match I have played this tournament."

On what physical battles he had to work through in the second set: "I was trying to catch my breath. I struggled a little bit. I'm not 19-years-old anymore you know and you go through different stages in a match."

Vukic has been up in both sets now. He wasn't able to get the first set but he has taken the second.

How is this third set going to go? There's a lot on the line here...
