    Norrie 4-6 4-3 Tiafoe*

Oh that's brilliant! Just like Roger Federer, Tiafoe get around the ball, onto his forehand, and slaps an inside-out forehand winner from an improbable angle.

  2. Bouzkova holdspublished at 14:20 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Sabalenka 5-5 Bouzkova

Marie Bouzkova lets out a shout after sealing a crucial hold.

She had been put under pressure as Aryna Sabalenka upped the intensiy early in the game and went up 15-30 with a booming backhand winner.

Bouzkova holds her nerve, though, produces a good serve out wide at 30-all and then an ace at deuce before closing it out.

  3. Break point Norriepublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 4-3 Tiafoe*

30-30, big point, lots of pressure.

And Frances Tiafoe crumbles, double-faulting to give Norrie his second break-point of the match.

My word, Sonay Kartal - that is brilliant.

She finds the baseline with a backhand winner to go 0-30 up, before a wide spraying forehand to give herself three match points.

She takes the win with her first opportunity to seal a straight-sets victory.

That's Kartal through to the third round for the second year in a row.

    Norrie 4-3 Tiafoe*

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

This match has got its hooks into the crowd, with the majority willing Cam Norrie to find a break of serve.

The atmosphere is quite tense at times but there was some light relief on Frances Tiafoe's serve a little earlier when it clipped the net for let, but the automatic line call still called "out" anyway, prompting chuckles.

    We're easily amused here.

  6. Norrie holdspublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 4-3 Tiafoe*

Cam Norrie's not disheartened. The Briton hammers over a wide ace to hold to 30.

  7. Sabalenka holds to lovepublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 2 July

    Sabalenka 5-4 Bouzkova*

Simple as you like for the world number one.

Aryna Sabalenka comes to the net and flicks a forehand winner down the line to edge ahead again.

Still on serve in this first set, though.

  8. Kartal holdspublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Tomova 2-6 2-5 Kartal

That's better from Sonay Kartal, who looks like she's regained a bit of composure.

She holds to 15, putting herself a game away from round three.

  9. Bouzkova holdspublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Sabalenka 4-4 Bouzkova

What had looked like a comfortable hold as Marie Bouzkova goes up 40-0 suddenly gets tricky for the Czech after a pair of blistering backhands from Aryna Sabalenka.

The first is powered down the line, the next a laser cross-court and when Bouzkova goes long, it's deuce.

Will we see the first break point of the match? No, Bouzaka digs in and secures the hold.

  10. Tiafoe holdspublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Norrie 4-6 3-3 Tiafoe

Another ace and then Norrie hits a forehand long.

"Let's go!" roars Tiafoe. A very big hold from him. Norrie's first break point is snuffed out.

  11. Tomova holdspublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 2 July

    Tomova 2-6 2-4 Kartal*

Viktoriya Tomova's not done much wrong so far, it's just that Sonay Kartal has been pretty much faultless.

Until now, that is. The Brit's been a touch loose with her backhand in the last two games. It allows Tomova to hold to 15.

  12. Break point savedpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 3-2 Tiafoe*

    Ace.

  13. Break point Norriepublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 3-2 Tiafoe*

Loose from Tiafoe, very loose. A cross-court forehand lands long and wide.

  14. Deuce on Tiafoe's servepublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 3-2 Tiafoe*

Chance for Norrie. From 40-15 he drags himself back into the this game and slapped winner into the corner takes us to deuce.

  15. The heat has gonepublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 2 July

    Barbora KrejcikovaImage source, BBC Sport

After the high temperatures of the first two days, it's a bit of a shock to see reigning women's champion Barbora Krejcikova wearing tights in her doubles match on court eight.

They are, of course, white - to fit in with Wimbledon etiquette.

  16. Tomova breaks backpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Tomova 2-6 1-4 Kartal

Well, there's one of the breaks back.

    She takes it to love.

  17. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 2 July

    Sabalenka 4-3 Bouzkova*

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Aryna Sabalenka wears her heart on her sleeve and I think that's something that people love about her.

The eye rolls, the heavy sighs of disappointment or frustration when things aren't going her way as well as the screams of joy when things are.

A big character on the Tour these days.

Aryna Sabalenka comes to the net once more and floats a forehand past Marie Bouzkova.

An ace from Sabalenka as the world number one holds on Centre Court.

  19. Kartal double breakspublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 2 July

    Tomova 2-6 0-4 Kartal*

Viktoriya Tomova simply cannot live with Sonay Kartal right now. She's not giving anything up for free and is taking full advantage of every opportunity she gets.

The Brit displays her athleticism to get to a Tomova drop shot to earn break point and the Bulgarian then misses a simple shot to give the Brit a double break.

That's eight games in a row for Kartal now.

  20. Norrie holdspublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-6 3-2 Tiafoe*

And a love-hold from Norrie. This match is racing by.
