    *Sabalenka 1-1 Bouzkova

Aryna Sabalenka hits two forehands long as Marie Bouzkova races into a 40-0 lead on her opening service game.

Sabalenka gets back into the game with a clever drop shot before Bouzkova goes long.

A thumping shot is too much for Bouzkova to handle and the game goes to deuce.

Sabalenka hits into the net and Bouzkova is on the board.

  2. Tiafoe serving for setpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-5 Tiafoe*

Frances Tiafoe has a train to catch. He's already 40-0 up after some decent serves.

  3. Game and first setpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 2 July

    Tomova 2-6 Kartal*

    How impressive was that?

Sonay Kartal takes a big stride towards round three by winning the first set against Viktoriya Kartal.

The Brit took two of her three break point opportunities to win the first 2-6.

    Ruthless stuff.

  4. Norrie holdspublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 4-5 Tiafoe*

Double-quick hold from Norrie. We keep going in this first set.

Good time for a first ace of the match. And then Tiafoe gets out of the game with a deep forehand.

So then, Cam Norrie will serve to stay in the set.

  6. Deuce!published at 13:43 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 3-4 Tiafoe*

Hang on. Norrie's back in it. At 40-15 the Briton hits a thunderous backhand winner down the line. And then Tiafoe gets too cute and drop-shots straight into the net. Ooops.

    That'll be deuce, Frances.

  7. Keys to serve for first setpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Keys 5-3 Danilovic

Over on court two, America's Madison Keys is a break up on Olga Danilovic.

The sixth-seed will serve for the first set.

  8. Sabalenka holdspublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 2 July

    Sabalenka 1-0 Bouzkova*

The roof is open on Centre Court as Aryna Sabalenka serves to begin the match.

There is a double fault from Sabalenka in the opening game but she recovers with a forehand winner down the line and then her characteristic big hitting is too much for Marie Bouzkova as she holds.

    *Tomova 2-5 Kartal

She's really found her rhythm now.

Sonay Kartal holds to love with ease, hitting a quite brilliant backhand reverse winner to tie-up the game.

  11. Kartal breaks!published at 13:39 British Summer Time 2 July

    Tomova 2-4 Kartal*

What a sensational game from both players.

Viktoriya Tomova saves the first break point with a stunning backhand return with Sonay Kartal at the net but the Brit takes her second opportunity to go a break up.

    Sabalenka v Bouzkova

A very warm reception for the world number one as she makes her way out on to Centre Court.

She's bidding for a first title here at the All England Club and with three of the top five seeds out of the tournament already, it's looking like a very good opportunity for the Belarusian.

  13. Norrie holdspublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 3-4 Tiafoe*

That's much more like it from Cam Norrie, who holds to love to stop Tiafoe's mini-run.

  14. Sabalenka seeking Wimbledon glorypublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 2 July

    Sabalenka v Bouzkova

World number one Aryna Sabalenka opens play on Centre Court against Czech Marie Bouzkova.

She has won three Grand Slams in her career so far but is yet to add the Wimbledon title to her collection.

Sabalenka was runner-up in the Australian Open and the French Open earlier this year and will aim to go one better in SW19.

Bouzkova is unseeded and may well fancy her chances of an upset in their first meeting on grass.

  15. Tiafoe holdspublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Norrie 2-4 Tiafoe

He's definitely still OK as he dictates the next two points and holds with a passing winner down the line at the net.

  16. Postpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 2-3 Tiafoe*

    30-15, and oooohh, ouch.

France Tiafoe slips and belly flops to the floor. Maybe it's a bit wet underfoot on Court One?

Anyway, he's OK, he's gonna be OK folks. A thumbs up to the umpire and we're good to carry on.

  17. A close look at a defending championpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 2 July

    Harry Poole
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

The tennis is at last in full flow on all the outside courts and here on court eight the defending women’s singles champion Barbora Krejcikova is partnering with Chan Hao-Ching, after beginning her title defence with a comeback victory over Alexandra Eala yesterday.

What a treat for the spectators here to see the Wimbledon champion at such close proximity.

They’re up against Peyton Stearns and Yulia Putintseva, who in an emotional opening 45-minute 6-0 6-0 loss raised security concerns about a spectator whom she described as "crazy" and "dangerous".

Hopefully there are no such issues today.

  18. Keys holdspublished at 13:33 British Summer Time 2 July

    Keys 3-2 Danilovic*

It's as you were on court two, as Madison Keys keeps hold to stay on serve.

She saves one break point in the process against Serb Olga Danilovic.

  19. Tiafoe breakspublished at 13:31 British Summer Time 2 July

Another winner from Tiafoe and that's the break!

No smiles from either player as they both slump into their chairs at the change of ends.

  20. Kartal holdspublished at 13:30 British Summer Time 2 July

    Kartal 3-2 Tomova*

And that's why Sonay Kartal is so popular with supporters.

She had to show some real grit there to keep serve after losing the first two points of the game.

Viktoriya Tomova twice took it to deuce but Kartal hits a stunning forehand cross-court winner from the baseline, before forcing a wild return on serve.
