The brollies were up in the queue again this morning - but for a very different reason to the past two mornings.

After two scorching days to begin the championships, the real British summer weather has returned.

Grey skies. Drizzle. A delayed start to the day. This feels more like it.

It does, at least, feel a bit fresher - and hopefully play can get under way at 11:45 BST, less than an hour later than scheduled.

Let's see what the Great British Summertime has to say about start times on the outer courts, but when we do get under way there's some juicy match-ups across the board.

On Centre Court, World number one Aryna Sabalenka gets things under way at 13:30 BST against Marie Bouzkova.

That match is followed by defending men's champion Carlos Alcaraz, who takes on British qualifier Ollie Tarvet.

British number one Emma Raducanu will close play on Centre against Marketa Vondrousova, the 2023 Wimbledon champion.

Britain's Cameron Norrie takes on American's 12th seed Frances Tiafoe from 13:00 on Court One, which is followed by compatriot Katie Boulter, who is up against Argentina's Solana Sierra.

American fifth seed Taylor Fritz ends the day's play against Canada's Gabriel Diallo.
