Luciano Darderi's resilience has been unbelievable.

He just will not give up. Fantastic fighting spirit.

  2. Darderi saves three break pointspublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Fery 4-6 2-2 Darderi

Luciano Darderi lets out a roar after saving the third point - and is geeing himself up again after securing the hold.

Impressive effort from the Italian from 0-40 with some fantastic groundstrokes to keep Arthur Fery at bay but a missed opportunity for the Brit.

  3. Three break points for Ferypublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Fery 4-6 2-1 Darderi

Fantastic passing shot from Arthur Fery to move up 0-30.

Cross-court backhand and no chance for Luciano Darderi.

And now the Italian can only find the net after a slice from Fery stays low. Three break points...

    .

The crowd is a little sparse at Court Two for the remaining British player in action today. Three Brits have gone through and three have gone out, so which way will the balance be tipped?

Two good service games by Arthur Fery so far as he looks to level matters.

  5. Fery holds to lovepublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 2 July

    Fery 4-6 2-1 Darderi*

It's been a strong start to the second set on serve for Arthur Fery.

After holding to 15 first time, he holds to love on this occasion, sealing it with an ace.

  6. 'Darderi starting to find his range on the forehand'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Fery 4-6 1-1 Darderi

    Dom Inglot
Former British tennis player on BBC TV

Luciano Darderi is starting to find his range on the forehand, he is really dictating from that wing.

  7. Darderi holdspublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Fery 4-6 1-1 Darderi

Just as Arthur Fery thinks he's a chance at 30-30, Luciano Darderi unleashes a booming forehand.

Inside out, cross-court and no chance for the Brit.

  8. Around the groundspublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 2 July

Over on Court One, Taylor Fritz has just equalled and taken the second set 6-3 against Gabriel Diallo. The American reached the quarter-finals here last time out, while Diallo has never made it past the second round.

Italy's Mattia Bellucci has now got the first two sets under his belt against 23rd seed Jiri Lehecka.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is a set up after winning the tie-break 7-6 (7-4), but American Ashlyn Krueger is fighting back in the second.

  9. Fery holdspublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 2 July

    Fery 4-6 1-0 Darderi*

    Just brilliant from Luciano Darderi.

Arthur Fery comes in behind a forehand into the corner but the Italian just whips a passing winner down the line with a bit of a swagger.

It's the only point Darderi wins in the game, though. A solid hold for Fery.

  10. 'Quite a statement Raducanu has put out on this court'published at 20:02 British Summer Time 2 July

    Raducanu 6-3 6-3 Vondrousova

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC TV

That's quite a statement Emma Raducanu has put out on this court and I think quite worrying for Aryna Sabalenka because she's going to be facing Raducanu playing at her best.

If she can come out playing anything close to that level again, I mean she may not be allowed to play like that because Sabalenka is going to bring a lot of power to the court, but Sabalenka is capable of spraying balls around.

  11. Game and first set - Darderipublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Fery 4-6 0-0 Darderi

Big serve from Luciano Darderi to close out the first set.

One break is enough for the world number 59 against Britain's Arthur Fery.

The wildcard help his own for long spells but his first serve is so important. He won just 33% points on his second serve.

  12. 'The support was incredible'published at 19:58 British Summer Time 2 July

    Raducanu 6-3 6-3 Vondrousova

British number one Emma Raducanu speaks after beating 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova: "I think today I played really, really well. There were some points that I have no idea how I turned around. I knew playing Marketa was going to be an incredibly difficult match. She has won this tournament which is a huge achievement. I'm really pleased with how I played my game the whole way through.

More aggressive? "I knew today I had to be aggressive because if I pushed the ball around Vondrousova would beat me. Mark [Petchey] has helped me a lot, everyone in that box. The support was incredible and I felt it today. The atmosphere was electric.

On playing Sabalenka: "She is number one in the world right now, so dominant on the tour and has won literally everything so and it is going to be a really difficult match. I'm just so happy with how I performed and all I can do is control my side of the court as best as possible. When you play an opponent like her you know you have to play well so I guess there is no pressure on me at all in the next round!"

"I was really trying to stay focused today, I barely looked at my box and I just stayed focused on the tennis ball today."

  13. Darderi to serve for first setpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 2 July

    Fery 4-5 Darderi*

Searing forehand from Luciano Darderi as he holds to move 5-3 ahead.

Arthur Fery needs a break but first he has to hold serve - and does so comfortably enough.

It's over to the Italian to try and serve out the first set.

  14. Paolini becomes latest top-five seed to fallpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 2 July

    Paolini 6-4 4-6 4-6 Rakhimova

    Jess Anderson

    She couldn't save a fourth!

Last year's runner up here at the All England Club exits the tournament in the second round with defeat by Kamilla Rakhimova.

Seriously disappointing for the Italian fourth seed and it's ANOTHER top seed out.

    They're dropping like flies, people.

Marketa Vondrousova is taking her towel, racquets and she is almost already off the court, she's absolutely fuming here. That is one of the swiftest leaving of the court I think I've ever seen.

  18. Outstanding Raducanupublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 2 July

That must feel awfully, awfully good for Emma Raducanu. What a noise on Centre Court.

An outstanding performance earns her a meeting with world number one Aryna Sabalenka.

What an occasion that is going to be.

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 3-5 Rakhimova

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Goodness me. Last year's runner-up Jasmine Paolini is on the brink of exiting in the second round against Kamilla Rakhimova.

The Italian fourth seed is serving to stay in the match and would become the ninth top-10 seed across the men's and women's draws to fall if she goes out here.

The Emma Raducanu of those early Wimbledon days, of those US Open winning days.

The smile tells you that's as good as she has played in a long, long time.
