Fifth seed Taylor Fritz is back in action on Court One against Gabriel Diallo and the American has lost the first set 3-6.

Elsewhere, Italy's Mattia Bellucci has just won the first set 7-6 (7-4) against 23rd seed Jiri Lehecka.

American Ashlyn Krueger, the 31st seed, is playing against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, with the first set on serve.

Vondrousova responds, taking the next point to force deuce.

But Raducanu can't be shaken off that easily, and she gets low to a cross-court backhand that the Czech can't chase down.

Tough start for Arthur Fery on court two as he is broken early in the first set.

The British wildcard has half a chance to break back immediately but his Italian opponent Luciano Darderi battles back from 0-30 down.

A 135mph serve consolidates the break.

Raducanu's on a roll. At 30-30 she fires a forehand winner down the line.

She's a point away from a double-break.

Marketa Vondrousova's title win in Berlin last month was the former world number six’s first title at any level since winning Wimbledon.

There, she provided an ominous reminder of her grass court credentials by defeating five top-50 players in the process, including world number one Aryna Sabalenka and number seven Maddison Keys.

This is a Vondrousova who appears to have rediscovered her form on this surface - and that tells you plenty about just how well Emma Raducanu is playing here tonight.

Having avoided an immediate setback this time, she has the third round in her sights.

There's an air of real excitement around Centre Court right now, but it's become a bit too much for the chair umpire's liking and she offers the crowd a quick reminder to stay quiet during the points.

"Ladies and gentleman, please do not cheer during points."

To be fair to Centre Court, it's pretty difficult not to when the tennis is this good.

"Come on!!!!"

Raducanu is pumped full of energy as she does a double axel in the air after winning the next point with a deep forehand.

And the British number one then holds with another brilliant forehand into the corner which has Vondrousova scrambling to return into the net.

From 15-40 down, that's a top, top hold.

Vondrousova nets and then backhands wide! Two break points, both of them saved by Raducanu.

Raducanu was immediately broken back in the first set. Is history repeating itself? 15-40.

Stick this on BBC Two folks! Raducanu is looking seriously impressive tonight, playing some stunning tennis in the next rally, directing traffic and hitting a deep forehand into the corner which Vondrousova can only wallop out.

She'll get another go, though. Long from Vondrousova.

Ahhh! How unlucky. Raducanu clips the top of the net but the ball lands on the Brit's side.

Over on court two, Britain's Arthur Fery is getting his second-round tie against Italy's Luciano Darderi under way.

Fery, a wildcard and ranked 461 in the world, knocked out 20th seed Alexei Popyrin in four sets in the first round, on what he called "the most proud day" of his tennis career.
