That was a BIG game by Jack Pinnington Jones. He played some fantastic tennis, got a bit of luck with Tomas Martin Etcheverry’s final shot of the game clipping the net and landing out but he did enough to earn the break.

Big cheers from the crowd, who are well into this encounter.

So far Dayana Yastremska is looking like a tricky customer.

She's got some power behind those groundstrokes and she unleashes a ripping backhand to take the break of serve.

Now the winners are starting to flow - and it's a break of serve for Dayana Yastremska!

  4. Serving masterclasspublished at 20:07 British Summer Time

I noticed Novak Djokovic feeling the area just below his rib cage and attempting to stretch out his chest between points a few times earlier on.

Maybe it was just a bit of early-match tightness. Whatever it was, it doesn’t appear to be hampering him - and it certainly isn’t affecting his serve.

That has been just one of many big positives for Djokovic.

  5. Pinnington Jones breaks backpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time

    Etcheverry 6-7 (4-7) 3-6 5-4 Pinnington Jones*

Jack Pinnington Jones will not give up in this third set!

Tomas Martin Etcheverry serves to pull a set back but the Briton gets to 0-40 and eventually gets the break done at the third time of asking.

    Back on serve.

Dayana Yastremska likes to play first-strike tennis.

Coco Gauff seems to be on the defence.

After a quick service hold from Muller, Djokovic maintains his perfect record on serve.

    Yastremska 3-2 Gauff*

Dayana Yastremska eases through another service game.

The two players have produced just two winners and 19 unforced errors between them so far, showing the radar is not quite switched on for either competitor.

There's something a bit special about the roof going on on Court One.

The ball makes a completely different sound as it pings off the racquet.

Another perk is that they've now switched the air con on. Which is a very welcome respite for these fans.

  10. Djokovic holds*published at 19:58 British Summer Time

    *Muller 1-6 1-2 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic will be delighted with his serving so far. He hasn't given Alexandre Muller a sniff of an opportunity.

    Etcheverry 6-7 (4-7) 3-6 5-2 Pinnington Jones*

Tomas Martin Etcheverry has his sights firmly fixed on wrapping this third set up and is racing towards that goal.

Dayana Yastremska gets the better of a lengthy rally to take control of her second service game.

    A good hold.

  15. Muller holdspublished at 19:52 British Summer Time

    Muller 1-6 1-1 Djokovic*

Really good stuff from Alexandre Muller.

Novak Djokovic - as ever - isn't giving up anything for free and the Frenchman really had to fight to hold serve for just the second time in this match.

Popularity of this match has got stronger as the evening has gone on and play has finished on other courts.

There’s fans from Argentina sat on the steps in front of me and others craning their necks on the stairway to see some of the action. A good number are even watching from the top of the stands on court 16 opposite.

They’ve picked a good one to watch as it has been enthralling. Pinnington Jones might have some of his friends sat close to me too as they are regularly trying to motivate him with shouts of “come on PJ you got this” when he’s playing from this side of the court. He’s needing that support in a tough third set.

I cannot stress enough how difficult it is to play Novak Djokovic, so much of what he delivers is unspectacular yet supreme.

Alexandre Muller is getting very few opportunities to attack Novak Djokovic's serve at the moment.

He has also got to focus hard on holding his own serve to keep in touch in this second set.

No real reaction from Novak Djokovic after racing to the first set in just half an hour.

He is strictly business this evening.

Or at least he is until the crowd begin cheering and whistling when he decides to change his top.

That brings a smile. On the inside, he must be absolutely delighted with how this is going.

Coco Gauff's serve can be a huge weapon but also at points in her career it can be a liability with double faults.
