    *Krejcikova 6-2 2-3 Navarro

How quickly things can turn in a tennis match.

It was all looking rosey at a set and a break up for Barbora Krejcikova but all of a sudden her level seems to have dropped while Emma Navarro's has risen.

The American gets a comfortable hold to 15.

Who knows which way this will turn next...

    Krejcikova 6-2 2-2 Navarro*

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

There is some slicing and dicing going on from both players.

The more you play, the more complicated things can get in your head and that is what happened to Krejcikova. It is a good time to come back for Navarro.

  6. Navarro breaks backpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 5 July

    Krejcikova 6-2 2-2 Navarro*

It looked like it was all going Barbora Krejcikova's way.

But, at 0-30 down, Emma Navarro is sensing an opportunity.

This time it is the defending champion who double faults for a second time to offer up three break points.

And she gets it at the first time of asking!

Is this the start of the 10th seed's comeback?

  7. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 5 July

    Swiatek 0-0 Collins*

By reaching round three, Iga Swiatek has become only the third female player this century to reach the last 32 in 22 consecutive Grand Slams. The other players to achieve that landmark are Amelie Mauresmo and Serena Williams.

Swiatek has won seven of her nine matches against Danielle Collins, although the American won their most recent meeting on the clay in Rome earlier this year.

Collins will serve first on Centre, as the TV cameras pan to a gentleman wearing a furry strawberry hat in the crowd.

  8. Tiring?published at 16:10 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Krejcikova 6-2 2-1 Navarro

    Sonia Oxley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Before today, Krejcikova had spent nearly twice as much time on court as her opponent, with both of her matches going to three sets. Navarro, by contrast, has had two straightforward straight-set wins.

Krejcikova seems to have decided that her best approach is to tire out the American rather than getting tired herself - the Czech is just so good at moving her opponent around the court.

She apologises for a mis-hit that actually ended up being an great drop shot that stopped almost completely dead with a charging Navarro getting nowhere near it.

  9. 'Krejcikova was hungry for the break'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Krejcikova 6-2 2-1 Navarro

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

If Navarro can get out of this, then she will give herself some momentum. But Krejcikova would love to get a break in this set.

That double fault could not have come at a worst time. Navarro will be kicking herself after that error.

Emma Navarro is going toe-to-toe in the groundstroke rallies with Barbora Krejcikova but the defending champion picks a lovely shot right at her feet to drop the ball too short for the American to chase down.

The pressure and the power is all coming from Krejcikova and she brings up break point.

Navarro defends well and 17th seed Krejcikova hits a forehand into the net.

A nice bit of play at the net brings up another chance for Krejcikova and she gets a helping hand with a double fault from Navarro.

    Swiatek v Collins

Iga Swiatek and Danielle Collins have walked out onto Centre Court and will be getting their third-round match under way shortly.

The TV cameras picked up both players in the waiting area and Swiatek was vigorously practising some forehands and backhands.

You want to be careful in there, Iga. Some expensive curios stationed there that you don't want to break...

Easy does it for Ekaterina Alexandrova, who has just taken the opening set against Zeynep Sonmez with a blistering forehand winner straight down the court.

The Russian 18th seed only needed 34 minutes to claim the one set advantage, after claiming an early break of serve.

The winner of this match will face either Switzerland's Belinda Bencic or Italy's Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the fourth round.

Emma Navarro is doing her best to keep Barbora Krejcikova in her sights at the beginning of this set.

Some good returns get her to 30-30, but the 10th seed can' t quite put enough pressure on Krejcikova gets herself on the board with a hold of serve.

    Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 6-3 Rybakina

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Of course the sunshine poked through the clouds as soon as this match finished.

That was an impressive win by Clara Tauson. She’d never won on grass before this year’s tournament and now she’s one match away from the quarter-finals.

    What a run she’s on.

  15. Navarro holdspublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Krejcikova 6-2 0-1 Navarro

It was always going to be a tough test for Emma Navarro today against the defending champion.

A lovely forehand back behind Navarro brings up break point for Barbora Krejcikova, but the 10th seed does well under pressure to hit a cross-court winner and bring it back to deuce.

A big serve gets her out of trouble and the American edges ahead in the second set

  16. Game and first set - Nakashimapublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 5 July

Brandon Nakashima and Lorenzo Sonego have just been battling it out in a first set tie-break on court 14.

The American 29th seed comes out on top though, slapping a forehand return of serve back over the net which Sonego is unable to return.

The Italian will be disappointed after sticking in that opening set, but there could be a long way to go in this match still.

  17. 'Navarro is not at her best'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 5 July

    Krejcikova 6-2 0-0 Navarro*

    Naomi Broady
British player on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

It does feel like it is Sabalenka's tournament to lose at the moment. Navarro hasn't been anywhere near her best today.

A brilliant set of tennis from Krejcikova. It was clinical and she is making a very good player look very average out there.

Is there a bit of tension for Barbora Krejcikova?

A backhand flies long and gives Emma Navarro a sniff at 30-30.

A nice serve and forehand combination brings up set point - the first on her own serve.

And a nice body serve sees Krejcikova over the line as she takes this first set 6-2.

It is the first time Navarro has dropped a set at Wimbledon this year, can the 10th seed bounce back in the second?

World number one Jannik Sinner, speaking after his victory on Centre Court: "Very happy with the win but we saw that Martinez was struggling. When you don't serve well on this surface it is hard. Huge respect to him [Martinez] to come out here and compete."

On whether he has enjoyed his first week: "Yes, every time you enter a Grand Slam in the first week it is special, even more so at Wimbledon. We are trying to keep pushing but this week could not have gone better for me."

On playing in front of the Royal Box: "I feel like I haven't won anything compared to all of the people in there! It is a huge honour to play in front of you all. It is nice to see new faces from other sports."

It is like neither player wants to win this game as we go from set point, to deuce and to game point again.

A wayward shot from Barbora Krejcikova brings up another game point for Emma Navarro and this time she can take it.

It is just a hold of serve but she at least asks the serve-it-out question of the defending champion.
