  1. Here comes the rain...published at 15:05 British Summer Time

    *Krejcikova 0-1 Navarro

Just as Barbora Krejcikova is about to serve, the umpire calls the players to sit back down.

The previous match had been played under the roof on Court One but this match started without it.

The defending champion was getting the drizzle whipped into her face from the wind so invites the ball boy to sit next to her with the umbrella he is holding.

Impressive arm strength to keep that held out in front of them both.

  2. Rain halts playpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time

    *Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 4-2 Rybakina

Journalist/weatherman Gary Rose has his finger on the pulse.

The players have just taken their seats at the side of the court and are sat under umbrellas.

Clara Tauson is leading Elena Rybakina 40-30 and is a set and 4-2 up.

Umpire Arnaud Gabas is currently walking around the court and touching different spots of grass to see how wet the turf is.

This is going to be hugely frustrating for both players if they are delayed for a second time.

Groans all around as it definitely isn't stray Pimm's. Instead the rain is back.

"Oh no!" someone behind me says as the brollies go up.

  4. 'Not much pressure on Sinner'published at 15:02 British Summer Time

    Sinner 6-1 5-3 Martinez*

    Greg Rusedski
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Sinner will want some competition. He will want some longer rallies to get himself used to this for further down the tournament.

This is an opportunity for Sinner to experiment with his shots, when there is not as much pressure on him.

  5. Sinner holds...just!published at 15:02 British Summer Time

Well, that was touch and go for a while but Jannik Sinner does eventually get the hold.

The Italian saves *four* break points - including three after deuce.

The world number one still hasn't lost a game on serve at this year's Championships.

  6. Rain returning?published at 15:00 British Summer Time

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Just had a couple of little drops of the wet stuff on my neck, hopefully it was just a bit of stray Pimm's - not something you say in most circumstances - and not the threat of returning rain.

We might not have to worry too much for this game, however, as Clara Tauson is marching towards the win. She'd never won a match at Wimbledon before this year, and now she's on the verge of the last 16.

  7. Navarro holdspublished at 15:00 British Summer Time

    *Krejcikova 0-1 Navarro

A few testing rallies for Emma Navarro but the American gets a nerve-settling early hold to get the match underway against the defending champion.

    Over to you, Barbora Krejcikova...

  8. Rybakina holdspublished at 14:57 British Summer Time

    *Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 4-2 Rybakina

After saving a second break point, Elena Rybakina gets to advantage with her fifth ace of the match and then seals the hold.

Rybakina will need to keep showing that kind of resilience if she is to turn this match in her favour.

  9. Tauson looking at double breakpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time

    Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 4-1 Rybakina*

Elena Rybakina makes a couple of really costly errors - most notably when lead 40-30 to allow Clara Tauson to deuce.

Tauson seizes the opportunity to take the next point to open up the possibility of a double break.

  10. Krejcikova and Navarro under waypublished at 14:54 British Summer Time

    Krejcikova 0-0 Navarro*

We are set for an intriguing match on Court One, with defending champion Barbora Krejcikova taking on 10th seed Emma Navarro.

The two have never faced each other on the main tour before so it is somewhat of an unknown for both players.

Who will come out on top? We are about to find out...

  11. 'A gulf in class between Sinner and Martinez'published at 14:53 British Summer Time

    *Sinner 6-1 4-3 Martinez

    Greg Rusedski
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

There is such a gulf in class still between Martinez and Sinner. Martinez is playing well now and probably to the best of his abilities but Sinner still looks brilliant.

The tempo and pace is pretty rigid from Martinez. Whereas it looks as though Sinner will never miss a ground stroke.

  12. 'Tauson on the way'published at 14:53 British Summer Time

    Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 4-1 Rybakina*

    Mel South
Former British player on BBC TV

To beat a former champion at a Slam that you have never won a match at before would be an incredible feat.

Still plenty of time to go but Clara Tauson is on the way.

  13. Martinez holdspublished at 14:51 British Summer Time

    *Sinner 6-1 4-3 Martinez

    Oh, well done Pedro Martinez.

The Spaniard so easily could have thrown in the towel there with Jannik Sinner on break point.

But the Spaniard keeps himself to within a break of the Italian in this second set.

A topsy-turvy match, but it is Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maneiro who overcomes Ukraine's Dayana Yastremska.

Bouzas Maneiro had raced through the first set 6-1 but Yastremska - who beat Coco Gauff in the opening round - fought back in the second to take it 6-2.

World number 62 Bouzas Maneiro came through a tighter third set 6-3 and sets ups a fourth-round tie with 19th seed Liudmila Samsonova.

  15. Tauson holdspublished at 14:49 British Summer Time

    Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 4-1 Rybakina*

Clara Tauson has the opportunity to lead 40-0 but overcomplicates her return at the net and slots wide. 30-15.

Tauson doesn't dwell and gets the hold to 30 to keep the scoreboard looking very healthy.

  16. GB's Kartal back in action alongside Burragepublished at 14:48 British Summer Time

    Burrage/Kartal v Haddad Maia/Siegemund

    Sonay KartalImage source, PA Media

Fresh from winning her third-round singles match against France's Diane Parry on Friday, Sonay Kartal is in action again this afternoon with British women's doubles partner Jodie Burrage.

They will be up against 11th seeds Beatriz Haddad Maia and Laura Siegemund in the second-round on court 16.

Their match was scheduled for 12:30 BST but is only just about to get under way due to the rain in SW19 earlier today.

  17. 'Martinez looking better'published at 14:47 British Summer Time

    Sinner 6-1 4-2 Martinez*

    Leon Smith
GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Clearly the medical time out has helped Martinez. He was like this in his first match of the tournament, he slowly got better and better. But he wasn't playing the world number one then.

I am glad he's made it a bit more competitive. The shoulder only seems to be affecting Martinez on his serve because the rest of his game looks good.

  18. Rybakina holdspublished at 14:46 British Summer Time

    *Tauson 7-6 (8-6) 3-1 Rybakina

Elena Rybakina battles to a hold to 30.

The 2022 Wimbledon champion desperately needed that.

Now just to try and break back.

  19. Sinner holdspublished at 14:42 British Summer Time

    Sinner 6-1 4-2 Martinez*

Jannik Sinner is in full control of this match now but there is, at least, a different feel to this now.

Pedro Martinez is playing with a smile on his face, compared to the first set which really was an uncomfortable watch.

He's going down, but not without a fight.

  20. Postpublished at 14:41 British Summer Time

    Harry Poole
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

We all know the Wimbledon crowd loves to root for an underdog - at least when they're not up against a Brit - and you can tell the vast majority under the Centre Court roof here are desperate to see Pedro Martinez make a fist of this.

The number of shouts of support for Martinez continue to increase, with an occasional 'Vamos' chucked in for good measure, but Jannik Sinner is just not allowing him to find any momentum.

During his previous match I referenced the 'Sinner cyclone' that lower-ranked players tend to find themselves caught up in against the world number one. When he is in the mood, like this, more often than not you need to be named Carlos Alcaraz to stop him.
