Mirra Andreeva is in action against Italian Lucia Bronzetti on Court One. The 18-year-old has already taken the opening set 6-1 there, just 23 minutes after stepping out onto court.

Grigor Dimitrov is also one set up against France's Corentin Moutet. The Bulgarian 19th seed cruised through his first-round match against Yoshihito Nishioka in straight sets, so he will be hoping for a similar result this afternoon.

Jakub Mensik and Marcos Giron are into a fourth set in their second-round match on court 12. The Czech 15th seed currently holds a 2-1 advantage over the American, but things are all square at 4-4 in the fourth set.

Elsewhere, Arthur Rinderknech has opened up a firm advantage over Chile's Cristian Garin on court 17. The Frenchman lost the first set 6-3 but bounced back to take the next two sets 6-3 7-6 (7-3), after knocking out third seed Alexander Zverev on Monday.

  5. Evans holdspublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 3 July

    Evans 1-1 Djokovic*

Just like Djokovic did, Evans starts his opening service game with an ace.

This game's a lot tighter though and Djokovic pulls off a cheeky lob but then puts too much fizz on a forehand as Evans holds to 30.

In the build-up to this year's Wimbledon, Djokovic admitted it's here, at SW19, where he has the best chance of winning a 25th Slam.

Djokovic won four straight titles between 2018 and 2023, but has been beaten by Carlos Alcaraz in the past two finals.

This year he's seeded sixth and recovered from a second-set wobble to beat Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-1 6-7 (7-9) 6-2 6-2 in the first round.

  18. Game and third set - De Minaurpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 3 July

    De Minaur 4-6 6-2 6-4 0-0 Cazaux*

Two forehands go long from Arthur Cazaux and that brings up two set points for Alex de Minaur but he is unable to convert the first one.

However, a sweeping forehand right into the corner clinches the set and De Minaur has a 2-1 lead.

That set was the longest so far, taking 55 minutes to complete.

De Minaur pumps his fist and shouts to his box as he takes a seat while Cazaux goes for a bathroom break.

Having lost in the first round in his past three Wimbledon appearances, Dan Evans bucked the trend on Tuesday by cruising into the second round by beating fellow Briton Jay Clarke 6-1 7-5 6-2.

Evans has pulled off some big shocks already this grass-court season, defeating top-15 players Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe at Queen's and Eastbourne.

Defeating Novak Djokovic on Centre though would be something else entirely.
