Play back under way on Court One after what appeared to be an issue in the crowd.

It seems everyone is OK, though, and Mirra Andreeva takes that hold after saving set points.

It looks like we've got an incident in the crowd which is halting play here.

I can't quite see what's happening as it's high up in the stands of Court One but Mirra Andreeva alerted the umpire to it and now we have a pause in play.

Briton Arthur Fery's second round match against Luciano Darderi was suspended due to fading light on court two last night and the pair are just about to resume.

Darderi, who wrapped up the second set before play was halted, is on serve to get us going back on court two.

Occasions like this are what Dan Evans thrives on - and why he is still playing.

Battling through the tennis turmoil he was going through earlier this year has been richly rewarded.

Of course, it is tough going against the GOAT.

But he is playing well, trying to cause Djokovic issues with his variety and being willed on by the home crowd.

  10. 'Evans is playing great tennis'published at 14:15 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Evans 3-4 Djokovic

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC One

I've been so impressed with Dan Evans because I was surprised whether he had the motivation to keep going.

He has been everywhere on the Challenger tour. He is playing great tennis and that is going to give him the belief that he can get back into the top 100 and back into the Grand Slams.

  11. Andreeva breaks backpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Andreeva 6-1 4-5 Bronzetti

Mirra Andreeva handles serving to stay in the set well, so it all comes down to whether Lucia Bronzetti can answer the serve-it-out question.

    She can't.

Impressive touch and feel around the court from the 18-year-old and Bronzetti can't quite deal with it.

Andreeva still has another game to try and serve to stay in this second set.

  12. 'It was really quite moving'published at 14:13 British Summer Time 3 July

    David Law
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Dan Evans was tearful in the press conference. It was really quite moving. Often people think he is a straight-spoken Brummie, which he is, but he feels these things.

He said I found myself thinking it is embarrassing almost.

But he is starting to rise to the challenge here.

    *Evans 3-4 Djokovic

These two are getting stuck into some mega rallies. Evans moves forward but Djokovic reads it and puts in an inch-perfect lob which Evans does get to, but can only hammer into the net.

    Hold to 15.

    Laura Robson
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

It almost feels like Djokovic can play these points over and over.

Evans knows he has to play perfect points and it feels like it is stacked against you, which makes the tactics interesting.

  19. Three break pointspublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Evans 2-3 Djokovic

Djokovic is relentless. Evans double-faults to start the game and then can't get into the next two rallies.

Before you know it, it's 0-40 Djokovic.

  20. Bronzetti breakspublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Andreeva 6-1 2-5 Bronzetti

Could Lucia Bronzetti be turning this match around?

Having been outplayed in the first set by Mirra Andreeva, the Italian is showing more of what she is capable of here in the second.

She secures an important break against the world number seven, but can she back it up?

    Yes.

Andreeva makes is difficult for Bronzetti as the Italian has to fend off break points and some taxing rallies but she comes through to be one game away from taking the second set.
