Mattia Bellucci needs to stop this slide quickly.

Wow, a first double fault of the match from Taylor Fritz comes at just the wrong moment.

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has two service points from here - win them both and he'll take us into a fourth set.

The first two points go against the serve, then the next four are won by the server.

All square at the first change of ends.

The crowd were on their feet after that lengthy rally set up set point for Norrie.

He was orchestrating the crowd like a conductor to get them going and they were only too happy to oblige.

That opening set was a real rollercoaster for Mattia Bellucci. The Italian broke in the opening game and had the chance to go two breaks up in the third.

In the end it was heartbreak in the tie-break.

    It's crucial he resets now.

What an amazing set of tennis, for so many reasons.

Cameron Norrie started really horribly. He lost his serve straightaway, could've gone down two breaks, but he showed what he is about and hung in there.

The backhand pass was phenomenal at 5-5. The running beforehand only happens with a lifetime of work.

This is a body blow for Mattia Bellucci. That is a tough set to recover from.

Laura Siegemund, the oldest player left in the women's draw, speaking after beating sixth seed Madison Keys: "You can't not be happy when you beat a great player like Madison.

"It was not easy today, it was quite windy and swirly, at times it wasn't the best quality. But I managed and in the end I found solutions and kept my nerves."

How were the nerves? "There are always nerves in this moment.

"It is a big opportunity for me. You just take a deep breath and just remember what your strategy is. It is an opportunity and technically not pressure for me. Pressure is a privilege and I try to remember that in the big moments.

"I only play for myself. I don't feel like I have to prove anything anymore. My boyfriend often tells me that.

"All the girls out here at this level, you are perfectionists and it can get in the way, you always want more but you can't always get more, that is like in life, but you have to remember the core of why you are doing something.

"When it comes down to 'I'm playing for me' then the pressure goes away.

"I know what I can do, I know what I cannot do and if I do well I win, if I don't then I lose, and at the end I am the same person. So, if I stay at that core then I play my best tennis."

That's a solid hold of serve from Taylor Fritz to go 6-5 up in set three and he can have a bit of a free swing in this next game, knowing he has the security of being in a tie-break if he loses it.

Both players were guilty of wasting break point opportunities in that first set.

Mattia Bellucci took just one of seven with Cameron Norrie taking just one of five.

Norrie has just popped off court for a brief break.

  18. Davidovich Fokina holdspublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 4 July

    *Fritz 6-4 6-3 5-5 Davidovich Fokina

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina looked to be flagging a little bit midway through the third set but he's found some extra energy from somewhere.

Taylor Fritz produces one of the shots of the day, a frankly ridiculous half-volley winner from the baseline, but it's not enough to prevent the Spaniard levelling the set.

Alongside plenty of action in the singles, there are also doubles matches galore at Wimbledon with the mixed doubles first rounds also under way.

In the mixed doubles, David Stevenson and Maia Lumsden have come out on top in the all-British affair out on court 16, knocking out Jamie Murray and Emily Appleton in straight sets. It took the pair just one hour and 17 minutes to serve up their 6-3 6-4 victory.

Elsewhere, Great Britain's Lloyd Glasspool and Mexico's Giuliana Olmos failed to come through their first round match on court 18. The unseeded pairing suffered a straight sets 6-3 6-3 defeat against Jackson Withrow and Irina Khromacheva.

British duo Eden Silva and Joshua Paris stepped on to court around half an hour ago to face Dutch pairing Demi Schuurs and Sander Arends. The Brits are fairing well at the moment, leading 5-4 in the opening set over on court 15.

Henry Patten is back in action after his men's doubles second round win earlier today, partnering fellow Brit Olivia Nicholls in the mixed doubles. They are taking on Argentina's Andres Molteni and United States' Asia Muhammad on court 17, with the scoreline currently all square at 2-2.
