Those mid-court forehands from Jannik Sinner today, he's dealt with those so well even the low ones, that whip he gets, it's incredible and the speed, the way he can control it.

You can tell where the bread is buttered for the Italian tennis journalists.

Loads of them are still here watching Sinner rather than seeing if Cobolli can cause a shock.

If Sinner gets this done without needing a fourth then his compatriots should be able to hot-foot it over to Centre afterwards.

Surely it must be a joint headline whatever happens...

Staying the course consistently over a possible five-setter can be tough, but are we expecting Jannik Sinner's levels to dip?

He was staring at an exit in the previous round when trailing two sets before Grigor Dimitrov had to retire due to injury and we all remember what happened in the French Open final last month, right?

After a swift service game apiece, we finally get one with a bit more of a competitive edge.

Flavio Cobolli is taking more risks from the back of the court.

Cobolli has got Novak Djokovic a bit unsettled.

I'm a bit surprised that Novak is not going for more on the return of the second serve.

    Nick Mullins
    Tennis commentator on BBC TV

It's been more fun for us to watch than it has been for Ben Shelton to play in it largely. He knew anyway but he's been reminded of just what is a very mobile wall Jannik Sinner can be at his best.

    Cobolli 6-6 (0-0) Djokovic*

Novak Djokovic must still be struggling with some sort of abdominal problem. He's pressing his fingers just below his rib cage at the change of ends.

Again Flavio Cobolli is taken to deuce, although in this game he had led 40-0.

But the Italian gets it done eventually and the first to seven points in the upcoming tie-break will secure the first set.
