Those dark clouds look like they're here to stay, unfortunately.

It could be a stop-start day on the outside courts, but for now they remain covered with the blowers working overtime to keep any moisture out.

Andy Murray thanked Wimbledon organisers for an "emotional" farewell ceremony after his final appearance began with a defeat alongside older brother Jamie in the men's doubles yesterday.

The two-time singles champion is playing at the All England Club for the last time before retiring later this year.

A video montage of Murray's career was played on the Centre Court big screen after the match, leaving the former world number one in tears as thousands of fans showed their appreciation with elongated applause.

"It feels like a good ending to me. Whether I deserve it or not, I don't know. But they did a really, really good job," said Murray, who won Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016.

With the rain coming down, fans are scrambling to find a place to let their hoods down.

It's a perfect time to pop into the Wimbledon shop, which was jam-packed this morning and these umbrellas were flying out the doors.

After yesterday's sun, it's grey and wet at Wimbledon this morning and unfortunately that means no play on the outside courts until 12:00 BST at the earliest.

The good news is that with all those matches being on the show courts, they will go ahead as planned regardless.

The less good news is that the weather is looking decidedly grim at the All England Club. The rain is coming down, the covers are on and we will have a bit of a wait before there is any action on the outside courts.
