Frances Tiafoe saw off the break point but he has not been able to put this game to bed yet.

We're back to deuce for the third time, nearly eight minutes in.

It's been the story of the first set, these two can't be separated and that's how the tie-break is playing out too!

    Good luck calling this one.

I think the roof being closed suits both players because you've taken out that element of the wind and it means that you can be ultra-aggressive, take the ball early, no variables.

    It's a shot-makers paradise.

There's a stoppage in play on court three as a spectator is receiving medical attention.

Medics rushed to the woman’s aid along with a doctor from the team of Paula Badosa.

    Let’s hope she’s OK.

  6. Break point for Alcarazpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Alcaraz 3-2 Tiafoe

Brilliant! A fantastic rally sees them firing beautifully-struck shot after beautifully-struck shot back and forth from the baseline.

The crowd is enthralled and slightly disappointed to see the rally ended when Frances Tiafoe goes long.

The 29th seed's slices also drifts long on the next point to give Carlos Alcaraz his first break point opportunity...

Bianca Andreescu fires a backhand passing winner down the line. What a way to hold to 30 and take this first set to a tie-break. There's really nothing between these two on Court One.

Carlos Alcaraz fires down a 131mph ace but, on the whole, there has been far more back-and-forth on the Spaniard's serve.

A couple of unforced errors just Frances Tiafoe a sniff of a break at 30-30 and that leads to the first break point of the match.

Another unforced error with Alcaraz finding the net with a forehand. But Tiafoe's cross-court forehand is just wide and Alcaraz follows up a fierce forehand with a volley at the net to close out the game.

A frustrated Andreescu throws her arms up into the air, turns to her team and shakes her head after slicing a forehand into the net at 5-5, deuce on Paolini's serve. A giveaway at the business end of the set.

Huge 112mph ace from Paula Badosa wins her the game after being 30-0 down.

Frances Tiafoe's got a smile on his face with his hands on his hips.

He thought he had got the better of Carlos Alcaraz with that drop shot, but a lob and volley later and the Spaniard gets the point.

This is going to be heaps of fun, isn't it?

    Alcaraz 2-1 Tiafoe*

Carlos Alcaraz starts the game with a forehand winner followed by a clench of the fist but Frances Tiafoe quickly responds.

He races across the baseline to fire a backhand down the line, Alcaraz can't get it back and it's 15-30.

No problem for the third seed. He gets to 40-30 after getting the better of a lovely exchange at the net, bringing out the lob before putting away a simple volley.

"Vamos!" he cries after an ace seals the hold.

I watched Daria Kasatkina in her second-round match against Brit Lily Miyazaki but this is just a different kettle of fish altogether.
