Uh oh. Draper's mood is darkening like the late evening sky.

The new British number one stares at his team across the court before ploughing his poor racquet into his bag.

The racquet is always the fall guy.

    One, two, three thumps.

There it is! It didn’t come easy but Cam Norrie has moved into a two-set lead and is now within touching distance of the second round.

Is Norrie a huge Rafa Nadal fan, by the way? He loves shouting “vamos!”

    Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 4-5 Ymer*

Jack Draper really is keeping us on our toes here.

Just when you think he's got things in hand and under control, he allows Elias Ymer back into contention.

Ymer breaks with a shot which skips off the baseline.

Draper retreats to his chair and gestures to his coach that all four of those winners landed on the line. He then proceeds to slam his racquet off the turf.

  4. 'Brownie points for Alex, was surprised to see him there' - Boulterpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 2 July

    Boulter 7-6 (8-6) 7-5 Maria

    BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Katie Boulter was talking to BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra after coming through her first round match:

“There’s always this anticipation about your first round match. You never know what you are going to expect. It’s about getting used to the conditions, the courts. Obviously we change a lot week to week, so it’s really nice to be through my first round. Now I can relax a bit and I’m happy to be going through to the second round."

How much of the evening to invest in everything that is going on?

“I’m someone that’s always watching the scores, always trying to watch the British players as much as I can. I’m sure the moment I get back hoe it will be on the TV waiting for me. Alex (De Minaur) is at home and he’ll be watching it as well."

"It is also about keeping focus and switch off from tennis if I can and getting reay for my second round.

How many brownie points is Alex getting (played today and came to watch Katie’s match?

"He did press after but I was quite surprised to see him up there. He got a few brownie points for sure but I didn’t know if he had won the third set or not, so the fact that he was out there within 15 minutes, I was pretty happy to see him get the win too."

  5. Game and second set - Norriepublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 7-5 7-5 Diaz Acosta*

A case of deja vu. Cameron Norrie has won the set 7-5 again.

A wild forehand from his opponent did it for him in the end.

Facundo Diaz Acosta has a mountain to climb now.

  6. Ymer holdspublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 4-4 Ymer

The new balls are out and Jack Draper is slinging them around the court, forcing Elias Ymer to hit the net. 15-0.

A great response from Ymer, though, as he wins three points in a row.

More desperation from Draper as he makes another frivolous challenge when the ball looked clearly out.

As expected, it was the wrong side of the chalk and the game goes to serve.

  7. Wozniacki coming throughpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 2 July

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Just as that Fran Jones match was finishing up, I heard calls behind me to clear the way.

Thought there might be an A-lister coming through and I wasn’t wrong.

It was Caroline Wozniacki emerging through a crowd of fans, who were all eager to get a selfie with the former world number one.

The Dane raced into the second round with a 54-minute win over American Alycia Parks on court 16.

  8. Norrie will serve for set againpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Norrie 7-5 6-5 Diaz Acosta

A perfect Norrie winner down the line gives him opportunity to break and he takes it.

A stray Diaz Acosta forehand has sent the crowd wild.

  9. Draper holdspublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 2 July

    Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 4-3 Ymer*

Jack Drapers races through that game with a win to love.

He's not managed to win in that fashion since the third game of the second set.

With every game that passes an error from either Draper of Elias Ymer becomes more costly.

  10. Norrie misses chancepublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 7-5 5-5 Diaz Acosta*

    Charlotte Coates
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Huge gasp from the crowd on court three as Cam Norrie blows the chance to move two sets to the good.

What was that I said about a straightforward win again?

  11. Diaz Acosta breaks backpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 2 July

    Norrie 7-5 5-5 Diaz Acosta*

Facundo Diaz Acosta volleyed well to set up break point before Cam Norrie then hit wildly past the baseline.

You can't help but think about how long these players were waiting around for this game to get started because of the rain delays.

    Is fatigue causing the breaks?

  12. GB’s Jones knocked out in first roundpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 2 July

    Jones 6-3 1-6 2-6 Martic

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

It’s all over for Britain’s Fran Jones, who misses out on a first Grand Slam singles win.

After winning the first set, she falls to Croatia’s Petra Martic.

The pair meet at the net and have a lengthy chat. It seems like Martic is asking Jones about that injury she picked up in the deciding set.

It doesn’t look good as Jones limps off the court.

  13. Ymer holdspublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 3-3 Ymer

A little moment of desperation from Jack Draper as he trails 40-15 and challenges the call of the line judge in the hope of getting back to 30-15.

He is well wide of the mark on that one and has just one challenge remaining.

Draper does manage to get back to 40-30 and then deuce with a powerful backhand.

Ymer sends his own backhand down the line for advantage and then takes the game as Draper's drop shot hits the net.

  14. Fist pump from Norriepublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 2 July

A break of serve and this is what it means to Cam Norrie.

The Brit will be serving for the second set in a minute. A straight-set win will do Norrie the world of good.

  15. game, set and match

Game, set and match - Marticpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 2 July

    Jones 6-3 1-6 2-6 Martic

An unbelievably brave effort from Fran Jones, who could barely walk at times during the third set but played to the end before falling to Croatia's Petra Martic.

The match had looked set up for a thrilling final set but an injury to Jones early on severely limited her movement.

The Brit refused to throw in the towel, though, and remarkably managed to hold serve at 5-1 down.

Martic has suffered with injuries herself throughout her career and showed genuine sympathy for her opponent as she eased through the final few games.

  16. Norrie breaks and will serve for second setpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Norrie 7-5 5-4 Diaz Acosta

Cameron Norrie breaks but maybe got a bit lucky there.

The ball hit the net half way through the game and dropped on Facundo Diaz Acosta's side of the court.

It's a game of fine margins.

  17. Draper holdspublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 2 July

    Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 3-2 Ymer*

Both players slipped up in their opening service games of this fourth set but it has been pretty ruthless with the ball in hand ever since as Jack Draper holds.

A slip-up from either in the next couple of games could prove key in how this match concludes.

  18. GB’s Jones on verge of first-round exitpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Jones 6-3 1-6 2-5 Martic

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

It’s all gone very wrong for Britain’s Fran Jones on court 15.

After winning the first set, Croatia’s Petra Martic fought back to take the second and the Croatian is a double break up in the decider.

To make matters worse, Jones looks like she’s picked up a thigh injury and she’s hobbling about in between points.

    Fran Jones
  19. Ymer holdspublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Draper 3-6 6-3 6-3 2-2 Ymer

No hint of a break point for Jack Draper as Elias Ymer stands firm on serve.

    We're back level again.

  20. Norrie misses out on breakpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Norrie 7-5 3-4 Diaz Acosta

Cam Norrie had two break points but they have come and gone.

Both players are spending a lot of time at the net but Diaz Acosta looks more composed.
