    *Musetti 4-6 3-4 Djokovic

An apology offered from Lorenzo Musetti as his shot hits flush off the net cord and dribbles over for a winner. 15-15.

First signs of frustration from Musetti when he hits long and turns to rant at his coaching box.

He was a break up just a moment ago and seemed to have all the momentum but things can turn so quickly against a seven-time Wimbledon champion.

Novak Djokovic picks his spot with a cross-court backhand to hold.

Does this guy look 37? Or that he [Djokovic] just had surgery weeks ago, the way he moves around the court. It’s crazy.

That's one of the shots of the championships right there. Novak Djokovic gets Lorenzo Musetti scampering around the court.

Right he goes, left he goes, but then with Djokovic seemingly well-placed Musetti finds a cross-court winner from his dreams, to the delight of all the fans of the Italian.

To his absolute credit, Djokovic recognises what a wonderful shot that was and applauds his racquet sportingly.

  9. Reid serves to begin the matchpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 12 July

    Hewett/Reid* 0-0 Egberink/Scheffers

It has been a busy afternoon for Alfie Hewett.

He went through to the finals of the wheelchair singles earlier today and now he is back on court three with his doubles partner Gordon Reid.

They are facing the Dutch duo of Tom Egberink and Maikel Scheffers

The British pair are defending champions after winning their fifth Wimbledon men's wheelchair doubles title together.

There are some thick clouds handing around but hopefully nothing to worry about.

Can Hewett make it to two finals in the same day? Time to find out as Reid serves to get the match under way.

    That is ridiculous.

    Musetti 4-6 3-1 Djokovic*

Novak Djokovic puts a backhand wide and Lorenzo Musetti is closing in on a first hold to love... until he is forced to chase wide and hooks into the net. 40-15.

We've seen some incredible tennis already in this match but Musetti may have just executed the best shot of them all.

He's sent sprinting the full width of the baseline three times and looks to be out of it until he digs out a cross-court backhand to hold and draw a round of applause from Djokovic.

    Exquisite.

    *Musetti 4-6 2-1 Djokovic

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Lorenzo Musetti gets to consolidate that break and creates a two-game advantage in the second set after a wonderful game, with Djokovic piling on the pressure, but unable to turn that into a break.

The break, a game earlier, came when Musetti fired a brilliant shot down the line. A large number cheered, thinking it was a winner, only for Djokovic to somehow get there and keep the point alive, only to be beaten with another excellent point down the line.

It's grey, overcast and a bit chilly but the match is warming up very nicely indeed.

    *Musetti 4-6 2-1 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic possibly gets a little lucky with the serve and volley as he looks to be hitting long but Lorenzo Musetti isn't sure and his return finds the bottom of the net.

    Djokovic goes on to hold.

Musetti is finding great depth with his slice, but there is not many unforced errors coming from Djokovic.

Nothing is coming easy for Musetti.

But, he is doing a great job holding put these points. A monumental hold.

Sloppy from Novak Djokovic as his backhand is too long but they go back to deuce when Lorenzo Musetti's forehand attempt down the line drifts narrowly wide.

Musetti saves a second break point but then fails to get the hold as he scoops Djokovic's backhand into the net.

Djokovic overcooks his forehand and Musetti takes the game.

Musetti lost the first set when the pair met at the French Open last month but fought back and eventually went down in five. Are we going to see something similar here?

    Musetti 4-6 1-0 Djokovic*

    Greg Rusedski

Lorenzo Musetti is just an amazing athlete. He is really upping his game right now.

    This has become rather fascinating.

    Musetti 4-6 1-0 Djokovic*

Lorenzo Musetti demonstrates his athleticism by leaping into the air and executing a backhand volley for a 30-0 lead.

There's a pretty athletic guy on the other side of the net too, though, and Novak Djokovic glides up to the net to volley a winner for 30-30.

Musetti hits long to hand Djokovic an immediate chance to break back but his following serve cannot be returned and they go to deuce.
