The way that Fils has celebrated over the last game and a half – that takes a lot of energy. He still has two sets to come. Does he have the energy?

    Fritz v Zverev

Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev are going through their warm-ups out on Centre Court.

American number one Fritz won Eastbourne for the third time in the lead up to Wimbledon, but the 26-year-old has not got the best record against Zverev at SW19.

Zverev, 27, has twice put Fritz of the tournament with a second-round victory in five sets in 2018, and then again in the third round in four sets in 2021.

Fils wins third set against de Minaur

Alex de Minaur trails 30-0 on serve but gets on the board when Arthur Fils is unable to return a forehand down the line. Fils turns away and nods in respect to the execution of that shot.

Wow! They are leaving it all out there. De Minaur clips a half-valley cross-court, Fils returns at full stretch and De Minaur is there again to finish it off. Remarkable.

De Minaur utilises the serve and volley but Fils is all over that and finds a passing shot for advantage.

    The Frenchman takes the set!

Just spoke to a Serbian journalist who's following Novak Djokovic. I asked him about the seven-time Wimbledon champion's chances and he doesn't think he'll challenge for the title this year.

He thinks world number one Jannik Sinner is the 'one to beat' and is 'unplayable' at the moment.

"Novak has to improve," he said.

An unreturnable serve does the job for Elina Svitolina on her first match point and the 21st seed is through to the quarter-finals for a second year on the trot.

China's Xinyu Wang beat fifth seed Jessica Pegula and Brit Harriet Dart to achieve her best result at Wimbledon but it was a step too far for her today.

Ukrainian Svitolina will now face fourth seed Elena Rybakina in the last eight.

Second on Centre Court today is a fourth-round match-up between fourth seed Alexander Zverev of Germany and American Taylor Fritz, the 13th seed.

Their section of the draw has opened up with Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Sebastian Korda - the sixth, 11th and 20th seeds respectively all eliminated.

That means the winner of this one will face 25th seed Lorenzo Musetti in the quarter-finals and Zverev and Fritz will see that as a great chance to make a Wimbledon semi-final.

A win today would match Fritz's best run at Wimbledon after making the quarters two years ago, while Zverev has fallen at the fourth-round hurdle here on two occasions - 2017 and 2021.

The forehand has found its measure. Fils has just decided to give it a bit more spin and in doing so has found some rhythm on it and he has the adrenaline now.

Arthur Fils is pumped up and the Court One crowd are loving it. He's been asking for more support and is getting it as the crowd would love to see a fightback. De Minaur held a break in this set, but has been pegged back and we're on serve with De Minaur serving to keep it going.

Last year's semi-finalist Elina Svitolina has been well on top today.

The Ukrainian hits a forehand passing winner to break a stranded Xinyu Wang, who can only watch it flash by her at the net.

The 21st seed is now serving for the win in this fourth round match.

Clearly De Minaur has to be a little alarmed right now.

His play is starting to be a bit more up the court, providing so much time for Arthur Fils to walk around and crank a forehand.

Now just the small matter of trying to hold for Arthur Fils as he has tries to maintain control in this third set.

A good start to move 30-0 clear but the Frenchman sends a loose backhand long to allow Alex de Minaur into the game.

Fils is wide. 40-30. It's getting tense.

The curtain came down on Andy Murray's Wimbledon farewell on Thursday following a straight set loss alongside brother Jamie in the doubles on Centre Court.

In the immediate aftermath of that result, Wimbledon organises put on a celebration of Murray's career with a video montage played out on the big screen.

Murray regaled us with tales of his nearly two decades on the court as fans on Centre Court showed their appreciation for his efforts.

He was hoping to feature in the mixed doubles with compatriot Emma Raducanu, but the 21-year-old withdrew due to a "some stiffness" in her right wrist.

With his final Wimbledon done and dusted, talk has quickly turned to how Murray will be remembered long-term by the All England Club, with suggestions that a statue could be built on the All England Club estate.

"We've talked about putting a statue up for Andy but our view is there is no rush to do that," CEO of Wimbledon Sally Bolton told BBC Sport.

"We were keen to celebrate the moment in his last Championships, that was the priority for the Championships this year. There are other parts of our plans to celebrate his fantastic career. We'd very much like engage with Andy to see how he'd like to celebrate it.

"For now, he's earned the opportunity of a rest before hopefully he competes at the Olympics."
