Alex de Minaur races to a 40-0 lead and has three attempts at set point.

Arthur Fils gets on the board before stepping to the back wall, dusting his face down with a towel and rather angrily throwing it back into the basket.

Fils' forehand is called wide. The Frenchman challenges but Hawk-Eye shows us it's clearly out and that's the set.

Can De Minaur get another three-set win?

    Rybakina 6-3 0-0 *Kalinskaya

Anna Kalinskaya shows her frustration with a kick through the air as Elena Rybakina opens up a 0-30 lead.

How much is that potential arm problem bothering her?

The Russian fights back, however, to draw an overhead smash error from Rybakina, taking the game to deuce.

  3. De Minaur to serve for second setpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 8 July

    Fils 2-6 4-5 De Minaur*

Alex de Minaur has shown great character in this second set.

The Australian lost each of the opening three games and was on the verge of being out of it but he has just rattled off five games in a row, including two breaks of serve to move get to the brink of a two-set lead.

Vitally, Arthur Fils finds a way to halt De Minaur's winning streak after defending set point and eventually going on to hold.

De Minaur will serve for the set.

It's been quickfire start out on Court Two. Everything has gone with serve so far with Elina Svitolina getting plenty of encouragement from the crowd.

Wang Xinyu, who knocked out Harriet Dart in the third round, is wearing a heavy strapping on her right serving arm.

It’s like a role reversal. It was Kalinskaya that was controlling all the points. She was finding the gaps, going into the open spaces and hitting clean winners and they had some quite mesmerising rallies early on.

But now it’s all Rybakina and Kalinskaya is now starting to look up at the box, towards (Jannik) Sinner. Her body language is showing that she feels uncomfortable.

Class way to win the set, with a booming backhand winner down the line.

Anna Kalinskaya saves a fourth set point with a little help from the net, as a return bounces short of Elena Rybakina.

But a first serve ace, followed by a superb backhand winner down the line secures the first set for the Kazakhstan fourth seed.

  8. 'De Minaur a great momentum player'published at 14:16 British Summer Time 8 July

    *Fils 2-6 3-5 De Minaur

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC TV

De Minaur is a great momentum player. He shuts you out, he doesn’t let you breathe once he’s in front. He has this intensity that doesn’t make you believe you can hang with him.

That comes from his physicality, because he’s so fit and he can move all day, many opponents feel they have to do too much and can make their own mistakes.

Ukraine's Elina Svitolina is wearing a black ribbon as she gets ready to start her fourth-round match against Wang Xinyu on Court Two.

The symbolic tribute comes after 33 people were killed across her country by Russian strikes earlier today.

A children's hospital was seriously damaged in Ukrainian capital Kyiv in the early morning attack.

Svitolina is one of Ukraine's most prominent athletes and uses her position to ensure the horror of the war back home is not forgotten.

At the Australian Open in January, Svitolina spoke about the atrocities and impact on her homeland in an exclusive BBC Sport column.

Having taken a 3-0 lead in this second set, Arthur Fils has not won a game since, with Alex de Minaur taking four games on the bounce.

The Aussie gets himself to 15-40 and to two break points, but the first is saved, followed by a shout of "allez les bleus" from someone in the crowd, cheering on Fils.

But a two-handed backhand into the net follows and De Minaur, a set up, is now a break up with Fils trudging rather dejectedly back to his chair.

We're back on serve after that break from Alex de Minaur and he holds pretty comfortably with a forehand down the line.

It seems he's quickly recovered from a torrid start to the second set.

Arthur Fils rants away at his coaching box in French as he fires wide and hands De Minaur two break points.

Fils defends the first but goes on to concede the game after swiping into the net.

Elena Rybakina is finding her feet.

She earns three break points before taking the first one with a fine backhand return winner down the line.

The Kazakhstani fourth seed made that look effortless.

Alex De Minaur is winning 86% of points on first serve but he's being too predictable and safe on second - always landing in the centre of the box - and has won just 25% points on that serve.

    Anyway, he holds this time.

And De Minaur gets a firm foothold in this set with a break to 15.

Just when Arthur Fils was starting to build momentum, it's ripped away from him.
