The task for Alexei is finding that solution when he’s returning serve.

He’s got to see if he can stay close with Djokovic in this set, but definitely find a solution when he’s returning because that’s been four games in a row when Djokovic has held to love.

    *Popyrin 6-4 3-6 1-3 Djokovic

Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

Novak Djokovic is still striking the ball well. He hasn't played a lot of tennis and there is nothing like getting out there on the court and anticipating, testing the knee out, he has done a couple of big slides so I don't think there are any problems pain-wise.

He has just now got to try and develop the speed and try not to get into really long matches that will tire his legs out. He hasn't got much tennis in them over the last month.

Ruthless from Elena Rybakina. A statement performance to take her into the second week.

The score doesn't suggest it but Caroline Wozniacki was in it more in the second set and saved four break points in her last service game.

But ultimately, the power and efficiency of Rybakina was just too much. The former champion comes from 0-30 down to serve this one out.

In this form, Rybakina might well be the woman to beat.
