Alexei Popyrin hit the backhand really well and beat Novak Djokovic with pace.

I don't think that's something he has seen so far.

Poor game from Novak. Alexei has got a great forehand on the run, lots of power.

Since that non-challenge Alexei Popyrin has just lost his way a touch.

But Novak Djokovic misses the forehand at deuce and it looks like he's blaming the sun in his eyes. There is just a small patch of sunlight that remains on court.

Alexei Popyrin uses the serve and volley to good effect then sends down what he thinks is an ace but it's called out. He thinks about asking the question but decides against it. He should've challenged! Replays show it was in fact in.

Fourth seed Elena Rybakina made hard work of her second round match against Laura Siegemund before coming through to win 6-3 3-6 6-3.

The 2022 champion has been in great form this year but an abdominal issue forced her to retire in Berlin ahead of these Championships.

She'll hope to show she is back to her best and ready to challenge for the title again as she takes on former world number one Caroline Wozniacki.

The Dane had a very tough second round match herself as she saved two match points before beating Canada's Leylah Fernandez, the 30th seed, 6-3 2-6 7-5 on Court One.

She's back there today with the opportunity to match her previous best at the All England Club.

He was made to work for it but Daniil Medvedev is through to round four after beating Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff.

The fifth seed raced through the first set and was comfortable enough in the second but Struff came out fighting to take the third.

Medvedev, a semi-finalist last year, was then taken to a tie-break at the end of a tight fourth set before his class shone through.

A big serve puts him back on track as Alexei Popyrin can only send it skewing wide. As it stands it's not very clear how the tall Australian is going to find the break.
