Walthamstow Wetlands: New urban reserve opens in London

A new London nature reserve, which is one of the largest urban wetlands in Europe, has opened to the public for the first time in 150 years.

Walthamstow Wetlands covers more than 200 hectares (495 acres) of land around a Thames reservoir in Walthamstow.
