Election 2015: Miliband in Labour pledge to working families

Ed Miliband has promised to increase the minimum wage, end zero hour contracts and extend free child care, if his party wins May's general election.

The Labour leader was setting out the party's five key pledges in a pre-election rally Birmingham, which also include commitments on immigration and the NHS.

Mr Miliband said the proposals would "transform the lives of low-paid people".
