MK Dons go into the new League One season with hopes of promotion (the bookies have them as fifth favourites).
Manager Robbie Neilson left his summer signings quite late, but looks to have done shrewd business with loan signings - notably Ethan Ebanks-Landell from Wolves andAaron Tshibola from Aston Villa.
The defence and midfielder look pretty strong, but with Chuks Aneke injured until September the attack looks a bit light.
In League Two, Luton Town must have a huge chance after losing out in the play-offs last season and making significant signings in the summer.
The recruitment of striker James Collins and midfielder Alan McCormack are the key ones. Considered joint favourites, The Hatters need to do their talking on the pitch – no excuses is the mindset, so there’s pressure on them to get off to a good start.
Stevenage have added a bit more youth to their team as Darren Sarll wants to see more energy from his side.
It's meant some of the senior players have left and some of the ones who have come in have a non-league background so it will be a bit of a gamble.
The Borough probably over-achieved last season in nearly making the play-offs and if they repeat that again not many fans would be complaining.
It’s been a fairly quiet summer for Wycombe Wanderers.
The loss of Aaron Pierre will be felt although Adam El-Abd is a useful replacement.
Wycombe will rely on a fairly ageing squad, particularly in attack, but they won’t want too many injuries as, once again, it's a thin squad. Play-off would be a good achievement for the Blues.

A sex offender has been sent back to jail for 12 months for breaching an order not to talk to children.
Daniel Shead, now 27, was jailed for six years in February 2014 for sexual offences against a 14-year-old girl.
Shead, from Maddles, Letchworth, was also given a 10-year sexual offences prevention order which banned him from having unsupervised contact with girls aged under 16.
He appeared at St Albans Crown Court after admitting breaching the order by talking to two children while released early from his sentence on licence. He was also said to have lent them a speaker to play music.
Shead, who was not represented, told Recorder Patrick Fields: "The kids were arguing. I tried to stop them fighting. I am not a risk to any child.
"I had no intention to cause any harm. This is blown out of proportion."
Recorder Patrick Fields told him: "You may not accept you were guilty in 2014, but you were convicted.
"The sexual offences prevention order was there to protect young children. You are not to have unsupervised contact with them.
"Court orders are serious orders - if they are breached they have to be dealt with."

A muntjac deer had to be rescued by the RSPCA after getting stuck in the wheel of a water mill in the middle of a restaurant in St Albans.
Staff at the Moor Mill Beefeater in Bricket Wood are used to visitors being wowed by the restaurant’s indoor traditional water mill feature, but on Wednesday diners were witness to an unexpected animal rescue.
Restaurant staff member Nathan Lobar heard a commotion coming from behind the glass doors that frame the restaurant’s old water mill wheel feature, and once they unlocked the doors to investigate further, they spotted the small muntjac deer staring back at them.
They immediately called the RSPCA for help.
Animal collection officer Kate Wright, who is experienced in dealing with unusual animal rescues, arrived to help the distressed deer.
She said: "This poor muntjac deer was in a real fix. She was stuck in between two paddles on the water wheel, really frightened and unable to free herself.
"It’s most likely she fell into the river from outside (see picture above) and was drawn under the building by the current where she became caught up in the water wheel, and in struggling to climb up to get out of the water, had become stuck in the paddles.
"She was thrashing about and loudly barking, as it would have been very distressing for such a timid wild animal to find herself stuck like that, so I knew I’d have to work fast to free her.
"The rescue was fairly tricky as the deer had got her front leg and head tightly stuck but with some work, I eventually managed to free her."
The deer was later released back into the wild.
Eight teenagers who travelled by train from Luton to St Albans to rob other youngsters at knifepoint have been found guilty of conspiracy to rob.
The group, who mostly knew each other from Challney High School for Boys in Luton, arrived in St Albans before walking to Sherwood Park.
One victim told St Albans Crown Court they were holding "cheap kitchen knives with black handles" and some were wearing ski masks.
They stole a bag and phone from the 15-year-old boy who was with his girlfriend.
They also stole a phone from another victim in the same park before moving to The Wick, where they robbed another teenager.
The group members, all now aged 16 or 17, were identified by CCTV.
They denied conspiracy to rob on 4 June last year, but were convicted by the jury.
They are due to be sentenced at a later date.
