    The retirement of former heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko means that Anthony Joshua must now face mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev before 2 December, or risk being stripped of his IBF belt.

    The Ukrainian, 41, was knocked out in the 11th round by current champion Joshua, from Watford, at Wembley Stadium in April.

    Joshua, 27, had hoped Klitschko would sign his rematch clause for a proposed fight in Las Vegas on 11 November.

    Bulgarian Pulev, 36, has a record of 25 wins and one defeat, which was against Klitschko in 2014.

    Instead of all that heavy rain, we may see just one or two passing light showers, especially in the west of the region.

    It will be cloudy this evening with occasional outbreaks of rain, but this gradually easing overnight to leave a few clear spells later.

    Southwesterly winds will ease somewhat during the early hours, and feeling quite warm and muggy with temperatures only dropping to 13C (55F) at the end of the night.

    Thursday will be windy with sunny spells and occasional cloud, and just a few isolated fast-moving showers. Temperatures will peak at 22C (72F).

    A mother and her 12-year-old twins killed in a crash while on holiday have been named.

    Jane Baker-Lockett, 43, and her children James and Amy Gaskin, from the Milton Keynes area, died following the crash in on the A361 in Devon.

    Her husband was travelling in a separate vehicle with her 14-year-old son and saw the crash behind them.

    Three people have been jailed over the sexual abuse of children in Milton Keynes.

    Colin Darlington, 52, of Melick Road, Beanhill was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court to 10 years in prison for four counts of rape and three counts of indecent assault.

    The sentence will be added to a 20 year sentence he received in November last year for similar offences.

    His wife, Rebecca Darlington, 46, of the same address, was sentenced to eight years in prison for two counts of indecent assault.

    David Moulton of Kentmere Road, Bolton, was sentenced to four years in prison for one count of indecent assault. His victim was under the age of 10.

    During the 1990's and early 2000's, two victims were raped and indecently assaulted by Colin Darlington.

    His wife was present during some incidents and also took part.

    Investigating officer Det Con Graeme Williams, of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: "There are no words that can do justice to the courage, tenacity and quiet dignity shown by the victims throughout this particularly distressing case in which they were subjected to horrific abuse and torture as children.

    "The long sentence handed out by the courts reflects the seriousness of what the victims went through. I hope that this helps them find closure and allows them to move forward and lead happy and successful lives."

    • James, who was taken to hospital via air ambulance, died shortly afterwards
    • An investigation is under way and police are appealing for witnesses

    Water supplies have been restored to Baldock and Letchworth, after residents were left queuing for bottled water following a burst main in Baldock on Monday evening.

    Affinity Water say repair work was finally completed at around 22:30 yesterday, with supplies resuming through the night.

    It says the bottled water ran out, and has apologised for the inconvenience caused.

    There are delays on Thameslink trains between Bedford and London because a swan was on the line.

    You'll be pleased to know, the swan has been removed and is now safe.
