    Non-league Solihull Moors are celebrating today after reaching the second round of the FA Cup for the first time in their history. 

    They beat League Two side Yeovil in a penalty shoot-out. 

    There were also replay wins for Coventry City and Cheltenham Town. I'll have a full round-up on BBC1 from 13:30.

    The number of people out of work in the West Midlands has fallen sharply over the last three months.

    The jobless total fell by 22,000 between July and September this year. 

    Unemployment in the region now stands at 151,000, which is 5.2% of the working population, slightly above the national average.

    Another huge rubbish mountain has appeared in the Black Country. 

    Shaw Road in Dudley is the latest blot on the landscape with up to 3,000 tonnes of rubbish being at the site since March last year.

    Local councils and the Environment Agency seem to be struggling to find out who owns the site, but say they're on the case.

    Last month a 42ft rubbish stack in Brierley Hill was cleared after five years.

    An inmate at HMP Prison Featherstone has claimed inmates there were not fed yesterday.

    The prisoner rang in to BBC Radio WM and also said prisoners had not been told about yesterday's protest by prison staff

    We didn't hear anything about the strike, normally we get a list under the door. Basically they haven't fed us, they haven't been telling us what's going on.

    The Prison Officers Association says 10,000 of its members walked out in action against rising violence in jails yesterday. 

    The Ministry of Justice says it is untrue that prisoners at Featherstone were not fed yesterday and it is also untrue that inmates were not informed about that protest action.

    A cap on the number of takeaways in Walsall is being considered.

    Statistics from Public Health England show more than half of people are classed as overweight or obese with 40% of 11-year-olds in Walsall classed as obese. 

    The council plans to look at changing rules so new takeaways can't open within easy walking distance of schools. There are nearly 170 fast food outlets in the borough.

    It was quite the night for fans of Solihull Moors FC who celebrated by carrying their captain Liam Daly on their shoulders. 

    The Conference Premier team beat EFL League Two team Yeovil on penalties last night to go through to the next round of the FA Cup.

    It was a dramatic night for Solihull Moors as their FA cup first round replay with Yeovil went down to penalties.

    The Moors won the shoot-out 4-2 after it ended 1-1 after extra time.

    They face a trip to League Two side Luton in the next round.

    A road in Solihull remains closed this morning after four men were hurt in a crash. 

    Two of them are in hospital with what police say are, external "life threatening injuries" after a car hit pedestrians before crashing into a house in White House Way yesterday. 

    Blossomfield Road is expected to be shut for much of the morning while investigations continue.
